Sony Music and the website ‘Mashable’ have teamed up to exclusively premiere 'Nuclear', the first single from Destiny’s Child since the group broke up in 2005. The track will appear on the new Destiny’s Child collection of previously released ‘Love Songs’ out on January 29th. 'Nuclear' was produced by Pharrell Williams, with co-writes from Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy and Lonny Bereal. Beyoncé and Bereal took charge of the vocal arrangements.
The uptempo number entails a familiar drum pattern with some 90s dance/house elements, and the vocals are so relaxed, it comes across as snoozy. For a comeback song, this is weak and a very lazy effort just to get the album to sell.
