Full concert: Bruno Mars performs at iheartRadio festival...

There's no doubt that Bruno Mars is an extraordinary performer. But I still don't think he's done enough to headline next years halftime Superbowl. It's a massive leap from somebody as established and well respected as Beyoncé. He just isn't on her level. And a dozen mountains will need to be climbed before he even reaches the level of Michael Jackson, Prince and Madonna (previous headliners).

The bar seems to have lowered making it easier for someone like Miley Cyrus to qualify in 2015. It's like, you will never get into Oxford or Cambridge with just an average C as the entry requirements are pretty strict so why should this be any different? I just don't feel Bruno has an A* career despite his talent.

His mother passed away earlier this year and he's been working his ass off and throwing himself into work. It could be his way of coping and it may have been that type of strength and willpower that could very well have contributed to him getting one of the most prestigious gigs of the year! Europeans set to see him in concert next month only have to look at his set at last night's iHeartRadio festival to know they will get their money's worth on tickets.

For his showstopping performance, he delivered a fun-filled set packed with charismatic upbeat numbers, passionately soulful gems and his signature James Brown’s dance moves. Fans were treated to live renditions of 'Locked Out of Heaven', 'Treasure', 'If I Was Your Man', 'Runaway Baby' and latest single, 'Gorilla'. Check out his full set below.
