Janelle Monáe shuts down ‘Letterman’ with ‘Dance Apocalyptic’...

If anyone knows how to bring the rock 'n' roll to a performance, it's the fabulous Janelle Monáe!

During a visit to 'The Late Show with David Letterman', Janelle performed her new single 'Dance Apocalyptic' live on stage. Last night, the 27-year-old delivered an electrifying performance of intricate choreography, which extended itself on top of Letterman’s desk! Even the poor microphone was not safe from Janelle's wild antics. The energy was absolutely raging and it was all done while she was fully clothed.

Ah ha. Definitely a rarity for a female R&B artist under the age of 30. It also shows that chicks don't need to objectify themselves by parading around on stage half naked to entertain their audience. If you have the talent and the stage presence to back it up, people will appreciate it.

Janelle was promoting her new album 'The Electric Lady', which hit the shops today and her tour of the same name kicks off on October 13th in Philadelphia. Check out her dazzling set below.
