Beyoncé loses nearly $4m to online piracy...

According to Billboard, Beyoncé would have earned $3.8 million if illegal downloaders paid the $15.99 for her record-breaking new album. According to Musicmetric's data, the self-titled project has been downloaded illegally 240,000 times since its release on December 13th. Um. EVERY major pop star has been a victim of online piracy so I don't even know why this is making headline news. It's not like the album flopped. She's been enjoying the best sales of her entire career. Almost a million sold in just 10 days (Stateside) and counting. I have to give it to Bill Werde though. His stanism lately, has been absolutely phenomenal.
