The midtempo cut, produced by Glass John, serves as a broodingly dark, R&B tune, led by an arrangement of light keyboards and programmed drums. Suicidal thoughts wash over them as it pains them to realise their relationship is finally over.
From the very start, Brandy takes on more of an aggressive vocal approach, and does not allow her delivery to build up overtime like usual. Her tone is raspy but she's clearly emoting given the dreary nature of the song. It's an interesting tune and their voices sound good together. Check it out.
