The film, directed by Angela Bassett, chronicles the diva's life from a choir girl in Newark, New Jersey, and becoming a global superstar to her turbulent relationship with Bobby Brown and struggles with drug addiction.
Yaya DaCosta stars in the title role, while Arlen Escarpeta plays Brown. Whitney’s vocal performances in the film are sung by Deborah Cox. This trailer shows that the film will be a million, zillion, trillion times better than that appalling Aaliyah mess they heaped upon us last month.
