Video premieres: Dawn Richard's ‘Calypso’ + Sevyn Streeter's ‘4th Street’...

Dawn Richard re-introduces herself as simply 'DΔWN' in her new 'Calypso' music video.

The futuristic piece, directed by digital GIF artist Kytten Janae, shows Dawn gallavating with metallic humanoids.

The artistic video was kind of cool and weird at the same time. This chick must have some serious money to burn, because it's apparently her fifth music video off latest album 'Blackheart.'

I don't know what is up with the triangle in her name but it is giving serious illuminati vibes. A simpler approach would lie in Sevyn Streeter's feel-good visuals for '4th Street.'

Sevyn revisits her childhood hometown in Haines City, Fla. This is where she grew up as Amber Denise Streeter. She enjoys a cookout with her real-life family, neighbours, and friends, while  reminiscing about the good old days. The message put across is that... home is certainly where the heart is.

The song is nice. Very 90s, and her soft vocals are mesmerising. I appreciate that she doesn't follow what's popular on the radio. She's being herself pretty much. Sevyn’s debut album 'On the Verge' is due later this year.
