Rita Ora for 'Marie Claire'...

Another U.S. cover...
Though I fail to see Rita Ora's appeal, she poses on the cover of Marie Claire. Cute Prada, but this looks very Teen Vogue. Fake smile and heavily painted eyebrows is not a good look.

In the July issue, the new X Factor judge opens up about her nasty split with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris. A split, which lead to him taking back the rights to their hit song 'I Will Never Let You Down,' so that she was unable to perform it.

Her management team have been on the ball because she's been getting Stateside covers left and right, although she is not much of a star over there. If, at all. As for the ex...
"There was a reason why I split up with him. And there was a reason why I’m at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom, and I don’t have to explain myself to anybody. It was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong. I thought he had my back and that he’d never steer me wrong. But then 'I Will Never Let You Down' came out, and everything started to go a bit weird. I don’t know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what."
A case of hurt pride perhaps lead to him blackballing her career? Or maybe that's what she'd have us believe and not everything is what it seems. Either way, we're never going to get the full story, so the speculation will only continue just as much as the elevator drama between Solange and Jay Z. Anyway, check out some pics from the high fashion editorial and read the full interview in the July issue of Marie Claire, on newsstands June 23rd.
