Beyoncé used as example in Amber Rose's double standard argument...

Now this is asking for it. Socialite Amber Rose doesn't get why she and Kim Kardashian get shamed for nudity and Beyoncé doesn't.

Amber has consistently defended Kim's naked selfie, which attracted a lot of negative press. In a new interview with the Daily Beast, Amber says she doesn't understand why she and Kim as "former sex workers" constantly get criticized, while Beyoncé gets a pass.
"It's bullshit, and this is the thing: They come at me and Kim so hard because I was a stripper and she had a sex tape. So if we could sing, it would be OK if we were on stage half-naked. We all love Beyoncé, but she's on stage half-naked and twerking all the time, yet people say, oh, she has talent so she's able to do that. We don't have the talent that Beyoncé has, so we get criticized as former sex workers, but at the end of the day we're just women — we're all women — and we should all embrace each other. No one is greater. We're all the same. So, to criticize us as incapable of being smart businesswomen because Kim has a reality show and I'm a socialite and we don't sing is stupid. We've both been in movies, and we take our acting, business ventures, and everything else very seriously. No one gives a f*ck that Channing Tatum was a stripper. He's an established actor who's at the Vanity Fair parties and the Oscars, but for me, no matter how far I go in my life, I see these stories that keep referring to me as a 'former stripper.' No one says 'former stripper' about Channing Tatum, or 'former McDonald's worker' about Brad Pitt. No one does that to men."
When you start off your career using your body, as a woman you will always be stigmatized for it. Not saying it's right, but it is what it is. People will constantly recognise you for using your body to get along. When Bey started her career, she was a fully clothed 16-year-old who offered nothing but her God given talent. The outfits only became more risque later on in her career, and bear in mind, these are costumes for the stage. Not something she would wear on a regular outting with Blue. It definitely helps if you have a REAL talent, which she has. Sadly, neither Amber or Kim possess any of her talent. Not even a fraction of it. You really cannot blame Bey for wanting to distance herself from Kim these days. Have you heard the type of records Amber and Kim tried to put out previously? No? Well, YouTube is your best friend.

I think people give Kim a hard time because she has done nothing to distance herself from her sordid past. It's like she embraces it now. The full frontal photoshoot she tried to "break the Internet" with and doing 'Playboy' are all classic examples. But hey, she's rich as hell, so in that aspect, she must be doing something right I guess.
