According to UsWeekly, Mariah Carey is filming a docu-style series that takes viewers behind the scenes of her new Las Vegas residency.
The show would also document her
upcoming tour, which wraps in May. Reportedly, her manager is a reality TV producer so getting the deal would not have been hard to seal. A broadcast date is yet to be announced. However, she has toyed around with several working titles, including 'Mariah's Squad.' Didn't her rival Jennifer Lopez do something similar? Reality television is normally associated to people who either have no talent or have lost most of their relevancy. MC is a legend, and I don't think she'd be doing it if her music was still popular. A part of me is thinking this might be a bad idea, but at the same time I think it could be hilarious. This is Mariah after all, and well... you just never know what she may come out with.
