Teyana Taylor is making the most out of her newfound fame. Following her stunning VMAs presentation in Kanye West's 'Fade' video, Tey is choosing to strike while the iron is hot.
In a new interview with Vogue, she says,
“I’m working on a new album. I’m actually trying to drop a new record in about two days. I also remixed the ‘Champions’ song with Kanye, Big Sean, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz. This video was such a surprise for me; I’m sitting here trying to rearrange everything! I’ll also be a character on The Breaks, which is a show on VH1 about ’90s hip-hop. And now the newest thing on my agenda is definitely to get this [dance workout] DVD going!”I'm glad she's actually capitalizing from this, however long the momentum lasts. A lot of articles fail to mention her shoe line or her achievements as a mother, singer, dancer and actress. Instead, they simply cheapened it to just a reality show. Her 2014 debut album 'VII' was really solid and got slept on, so if you need to get acquainted with her music, this would be a good place to start.
