According to HDD, '24K Magic' by Bruno Mars is expected to debut with 140K-150K SPS and 110K-120K in pure sales!
Not bad! Bruno has never been a huge first week album seller. In general, album sales have been lower for pretty much everyone (his 2010 debut ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’ opened with just 55K and 2012’s ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ opened with 192K). Plus, the title track wasn't exactly the ‘Uptown Funk’ kind of smash they were hoping for. Still, it did well after peaking at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album is set to debut within the top 3 of next week's Billboard 200. Bruno has also been confirmed for a future episode of 'Carpool Karaoke' and he's performing at tonight's AMAs.
