Little Mix become biggest selling girl group since The Spice Girls

Congratulations to Little Mix for becoming the biggest selling girl group since The Spice Girls.

Last week, the girls released their latest new album ‘Glory Days,’ and that topped the Official UK Album Chart. This was also their first number one album in the UK which debuted with 96,000 (SPS).

The ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ led set also became the second fastest selling offering of 2016, and the highest debut for a UK girl band since the Spice Girls released ‘Spice World’ in 1997 (that had a UK opening of 192K). ‘Glory Days’ is also the fastest selling album by a girl group since Destiny’s Child‘s ‘Survivor’ in 2001. Massive congrats to these girls. They work hard for their coin, and it's nice that a UK girl band can actually bring it performance-wise and vocally. No shade to The Spice Girls. They had some bops, and they represented girl power to the fullest. Overall, they will still go down as pop legends.
