New trailer for 'Mariah's World' on E!, promo shoot + album news

Mariah Carey's upcoming reality series looks like it's going to be good. I'm soooo tuning in!

I keep seeing people say "BeyoncĂ© would never," but in a way Bey kind of did when she filmed that one off documentary for HBO. Jennifer Lopez also did it as well, when documenting her journey on the road and motherhood. I think MC gets more flack because it's being broadcast on E! and that network is known for distributing trashy reality like The Kardashians. Any legendary artist that has the talent, and doesn't want to be seen as the has been that lowered herself to Kardashian levels, should maybe run away from E! as fast as their legs can carry them.

The promos are nice except for the one in the leotard. Only Bey and Jennifer Lopez can actually pull off a leotard. Mariah's body is too boxy and the pose is just awkward. I'm surprised she even green lighted this given her history with altering pics to perfection, and reducing her body in half. I still hate seeing a female artist wearing leotards on stage (as well as off) because overall I just don't think it's flattering on any female, unless her body is really athletic.

In related news, she's reportedly recording a 'breakup' album. Since splitting with billionaire fiancĂ© James Packer in October, MC "has been putting all her pain into a new album", a Carey source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. "She wants it to have the big heartbreak ballads she's famous for." My reaction to that? Yaaaassss! Queen of shade better bring it. She is already flaunting her blossoming "friendship" with back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka in the face of Packer. Yes, we all know that their constant paparazzi appearances together have been carefully orchestrated for Packer's eyes only. After all, it's been widely reported that he was extremely jealous of the significantly younger (and easier on the eye) dancer. She's hanging out with this dancer and STILL flashing around that $10 million engagement ring that Packer paid for. Revenge is a dish best served cold I guess. We see you MC! Watch the newest trailer below. The eight-part special is due to premiere on December 4th.
