Nobody watched AMAs (Ratings bomb...)

The American Music Awards hit a new all-time low in the Nielsen ratings on Tuesday night. Only 6.5 million viewers tuned in, compared to the 9.2 million that watched last years show. Ciara had a hot performance, but it was simply not enough to save this sinking ship. Ratings probably would have been a little higher if they chose to air it during the weekend. For the first time in a decade, the AMAs were not held on a Sunday in November. People have to work to pay bills during a weekday. No one is trying to lose their job just to watch a bunch of untalented social media influences.
