Janet Jackson's Glastonbury set was heavily panned over the weekend. She mimed, and there was some sound issues (low microphone). It just so happened to be one of the hottest days of the year, and Janet performed 30-year-old choreography in what looked like some serious winter gear. She must have been baking hot. I know people are going to say she's a legend and a pop icon (which she is) but Glastonbury tickets don't come cheap, and if I paid a lot of money to watch this performance, I'd have been pissed. The excuse that she no longer has nothing to prove doesn't fly. If a long serving artist wants to preserve their legacy, but no longer has the passion to give 100%, then just retire. Don't take people's money and think giving half baked performances is acceptable. It is NOT. Just stop performing and enjoy life away from Hollywood. Britney Spears, this applies to you too.
