Tamia honored @ 4th Annual Black Music Honors | Photos

Tamia was honored with the Soul Music Icon Award during the 2019 Black Music Honors in Atlanta this week. That photo of her with Tevin Campbell makes me happy. I can actually thank them both for putting out two of my favorite R&B albums of the 90s (Tamia's self-titled debut and Tevin's 'I'm Ready.') They don't make R&B like that anymore, and if they had, it wouldn't sell... not like it use to. It's pathetic how artists can solely rely on streams just to get closer to a certification. In the 90s, R&B artists had to heavily rely on their talent and true selling power to push records.

Tamia hangs out with fellow R&B legend Tevin Campbell.

Hosted by LeToya Luckett:
The show will air Sunday, October 20th at noon EST on Bounce TV.
