WTF: 'Leaving Neverland' wins Emmy in NON-FICTION category + Beyoncé gets snubbed...

If 'Leaving Neverland' is non-fiction, then so is Marvel's 'Black Panther.' I think the Creative Arts Emmy Awards may have lost their credibility when Dan Reed's Leaving Neverland was named best documentary in the non-fiction category. Doesn't non-fiction mean, well, non-fiction? For example, the truth? The doc features two adult men who say they were sexually abused by the late Michael Jackson starting from when they were 7 and 10-years-old. But receipts and proof have already been provided showing discrepancies in their stories. Reed himself even ACKNOWLEDGED those discrepancies. As a result of said discrepancies, Leaving Neverland should have been disqualified from any non-fiction category altogether. If they were going to give that award to someone, Beyoncé would have been a much suitable candidate.

Look... you don't have to like the woman. However, that doc showed a very honest account of her unmatched work ethic and incredible showmanship following the extremely difficult birth of her twins. The joke is, she was nominated for SIX and didn't win any of them. How Sway, how?!
