New Music: JLS debut their last ever single 'Billion Lights'...

After fulfilling the last of their five album deal with Sony Music, JLS are bowing out with their last ever single 'Billion Lights'.

Before JB retreats to his career as old Macdonald, before Oritsé pops up as a contestant on several reality shows and before Marvin and Aston dive full time into their lucrative TV careers, they give you their last departing gift.

Have a little weep on me.

And take a listen to 'Billion Lights' after the cut.

Alicia Keys performs at ‘Global Citizen Festival’...

Philanthropist Alicia Keys did her bit to support the awareness of worldwide poverty at the ‘Global Citizen Festival’ in New York City, over the weekend.

Alicia looked so divine performing her biggest hits on stage. I love her hair like this. And NOT like this.

Plus, she didn't ruin the ears of the 60,000 concertgoers that flocked the Great Lawn in Central Park. Result.

Watch some professionally shot footage below.

Full concert: Justin Timberlake performs at iTunes festival as well as 'Ellen' & Chatty Man...

I was thinking about doing a review for Justin Timberlake's new album 'The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2' but nothing about it excites me.

Unfortunately, I ended up with writer's block, so, sorry folks. Not this time. Not from me.

I'm glad somebody likes it though. For the project has hit #1 on iTunes, and he's been promoting it EVERYWHERE.

There's a whole marathon of JT that awaits you after the jump.

Snippet: Miley Cyrus feat. Britney Spears - 'SMS (Bangerz)'...

Wild child Miley Cyrus has teamed up with Britney Spears for a new song on her upcoming album, called 'SMS (Bangerz)'.

You will either love it or hate it.

Although it sounds like a cheap Nicki Minaj knock-off, it's clear they had a lot of fun with it. Miley is rapping about her man issues, while Britney is giving us some 'Freakshow' teas. Of course I will need to hear the track in full to judge it fully.

Listen to a 30-second snippet inside.

Rihanna teases 'Pour It Up' video with behind the scenes images...

"Strip club and dollar bills."

I usually love it when Ri swaps her edgier side for something more playful but not today.

Rihanna appears to have drawn some inspiration from 1950s screen siren Marilyn Monroe for her 'Pour It Up' look.

Classic Hollywood meets grunge with this pin curled platinum blonde wig and striking pink eyebrows!

More pics below.

The return of Beyoncé's wavy layers...

The hair is back, ya'll.

Your favourite lacefront queen has ditched the shorter look for a full blown wavy weave. And it's bouncier and blonder than ever before.

It was only a matter of time. But such a disappointment it is that we've never seen her out in public with this now mysterious pixie cut. She really wasn't feeling it huh? She did slay the hell out of that asymmetrical sharp cut bob though.

More pics below.

Rihanna covers Glamour's November issue...

Back when Rihanna was on her Dorothy Dandridge/Josephine realness with this jherri curl, she posed for a cover shoot for Glamour magazine's November issue.

Her makeup for the cover was done by Mylah Morales, and I do feel some kind of way about it.

I mean, she looks gorgeous and her eyes are simply mesmerising. But I hate how they thinned out her nose, just to appeal to the masses.

Drake announces ex-girlfriend Keshia Chanté as new '106 & Park' host...

Canadian singer and would-be Aaliyah actress Keshia Chanté is officially your new permanent host alongside Bow Wow on BET’s 106 & Park!

Her ex-boyfriend Drake also appeared on the show last night to make the announcement.

Their reunion was real flirty. Real cute. Mad comfy! A stark contrast to the awkwardness displayed when Ciara appeared on the show with ex-boyfriend Bow Wow this year.

Watch the action unfold below!

Lady Gaga + 'ARTPOP' promo = Dreadlocks...

Apparently, Lady Gaga's temporary conversion to Rastafarianism is not something she pulls off particularly well.

She's hardly known for being conservative with her style. No shocker. The only thing missing is a big fat roll of weed.

Gaga rocked this look a year ago. Looked a fool then. Looks a fool now. And this buffoonery is what she considers "art".

What a joke.

Rihanna performs ‘What Now’ & sits down for interview on ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’...

'What Now' is not my favourite song from Rihanna this era but she killed those live vocals!

Alan Carr celebrated his 100th episode of 'Chatty Man', and of course Ri was on hand to help him honour the milestone. Now we know the funny man loves to ply his guests with vodka to have them spilling tea.

And her juice is? She hasn't had sex in a long ass time. But her ex Chris Brown certainly aint missing out.

Poof!

Pic: Mariah Carey checks into the studio with Nas...

Mariah Carey & Nas on a brand new cut? Er, yes please!

It's been thirteen years since the pair collaborated on the 2000 remix of 'Thank God I Found You' featuring Joe.

MC recently attended Nasir's 40th birthday bash so it can be assumed this is when they decided to hook up again for MC's upcoming new album.

The pair recently clocked studio time alongside Jermaine Dupri.

Sneak Peek: Britney Spears - ‘Work Bitch’ video...

One of the few things Britney Spears had going for her was THAT body and her fierce stage presence.

Dancing was pretty much a requirement because she was never a good singer. She needed a distraction.

Now that she can't dance any more, what more does she have to offer other than flaunt her semi-naked body in barely there outfits? If she slays, I'll gladly eat my words. But until then...

Here's a preview of the 'Work Bitch' video below.

Something not seen very often; Beyoncé's songwriting gets praised, by Drake...

It's no secret that Beyoncé allegedly pays for songwriting credits just so that she can get a big fat percentage in royalties.

It doesn't even matter that she only contributes two words to a song.

Most songwriters will accept that because they are too psyched to have an international pop icon recording their song.

Plus, it's not really an offer any budding songwriter can afford to turn down.

Pics: Ashanti tributes Ray Charles in Atlanta...

Although Ashanti's show 'Army Wives' has been cancelled and won't be returning for an eighth season, I doubt she cares much.

Her days as a viable selling artist may be well and truly over but at least she still gets paid to perform at certain gigs, although not in the millions bracket as a certain Ms Aguilera

But some paper is better than none when you're forever billed a hasbeen singer.

See Ms. Douglas on her hustle below.

JLS unwrap artwork for goodbye single 'Billion Lights'...

The official artwork for the last ever JLS single has just been unveiled, making their split all the more real.

'Billion Lights' is described as "a straight-up pop banger" with "a serious electric edge".

Makes a whole lot of sense. It IS what they started with after all. Many people think One Direction took their fanbase but I think their albums would still have continued to sell less regardless.

More deets below.

Snippet: Christina Aguilera previews 'Hunger Games' song 'We Remain'...

Check out a 90-second preview of Christina Aguilera's new song 'We Remain'

The empowering number is a sweeping pop ballad which I find quite underwhelming.

The tone of it is not really cohesive with the genre of science fiction.  It could have been more dark and brooding in its production as opposed to sounding like something you'd hear on a Disney soundtrack.

Listen below.

New Music: Daley debuts Pharrell-produced new single 'Look Up'...

Produced by Pharrell Williams, 'Look Up' serves as the latest single to be lifted off Daley's forthcoming debut album 'Days & Nights'

Pharrell has already enjoyed his fair share of hits for the year with some of his groovy disco revivals, but this time he's keeping it hardcore with the R&B.

The silky midtempo cut entails creamy vocals from the crooner as well as an oldschool vibe reminiscent to the 90s.

Take a listen inside.

Lady Gaga shuts down Rihanna collaboration...

It doesn't look like we're going to get a Rihanna album this year, or a Beyoncé one for that matter.

October is less than a week away, and there's been no announcements or hints which is often the case around this time.

One thing I do know is that Navy is always welcoming of new Rihanna music, even if it's just a collaboration on another artist's album.

Sadly, that's not the case.

Britney Spears' 'Work Bitch' debuts within top 20 on Billboard Hot 100...

This bitch may have released the sh*ttiest song of her career, but it's still showing some serious impact.

'Work Bitch' debuted on Billboard's Hot 100 on Wednesday, entering the chart at #12. This marks her 19th top 20 hit and her 31st entry on the chart, overall.

She was so close to the top 10, but once the video premieres, she WILL get there eventually.

More details below.

Pics: Christina Aguilera shows off skinny frame during performance in Washington [9/24]...

Christina Aguilera was kidding no one when she said she was happy being categorised in the thick chick category.

All those statements about being happy to be curvy now hold "little weight" since she's returned to looking like her 'Stripped' era self.

Aggy showed off her super svelte frame this week during a private concert in Washington D.C. I hope she doesn't lose any more weight though or her legs will end up looking like twigs.

Teyana Taylor discusses Rihanna Twitter beef with Hot 97...

Following their heated Twitter feud last night, G.O.O.D. Music artist Teyana Taylor called into Hot 97 this morning to discuss the bitter war of words that occurred between her and Rihanna.

Teyana was in the studio working on new music when someone informed her about the video, which shows Rihanna’s hairstylist Yusef performing a parody of Teyana’s 'Caught Up In The Rapture' cover.

She calls Rihanna a "cyber bully" and says Rihanna clapped so she had no choice but to "clap back".

Janelle Monae performs 'Dance Apocalyptic' & 'Q.U.E.E.N' on 'Later… with Jools Holland'...

Eclectic songstress Janelle Monae took to the stage on 'Later… with Jools Holland' last night for live performances of 'Dance Apocalyptic' and 'Q.U.E.E.N' off her latest album, 'The Electric Lady'.

The energetic showing saw the pompadourable singer rocking a custom black and white outfit and a pair of boots while gliding and sliding across the stage.

Sometimes I wonder if she ever gets sick and tired of dressing like a butler/jockey/servant all the time.

Cher Lloyd performs 'I Wish' on 'Leno'...

A noticeably absent T.I. was not there to assist Cher Lloyd while she performed her catchy new single 'I Wish' on last night's 'Tonight Show With Jay Leno'.

The pint-sized 20-year-old performed alongside a live band and sported a bob, wedged green trainers and tight-fitting, monochrome leggings while singing about her wishes to be taller with wads of cash, style, a big butt and an ample chest. Of course we know that these things are nothing money can't buy.

Case in point; she's already gone and fixed her teeth, looking like Cheryl Cole's twin and whatnot.

Full concert: Brandy performs at 'Musicalize' event in London, & gets emotional...

Last night saw R&B diva Brandy perform a concert at the Musicalize event in London.

She wowed fans at the 02 Arena by performing old classics ('I Wanna Be Down', 'Baby', 'Have You Ever', etc) as well as newer cuts from latest album  'Two Eleven'

Brandy also got emotional when she performed 'When You Touch Me' for the first time live, which is lifted off her third album 'Full Moon', which was released in 2002.

Footage below.

Video Premiere: Drake - 'Hold On, We're Going Home'...

Occasional crooner Drake is serving some 'Miami Vice' realness in the visuals for his latest single 'Hold On, We're Going Home'.

Drake plays an '80s criminal boss on a mission to rescue his girlfriend after she is kidnapped. Fellow rapper A$AP Rocky also makes a cameo in the dramatic seven-minute clip. The high maintenance video was helmed by 'The Matrix' director Bill Pope, an appropriate choice given that Drake is "dying to get back into acting" again. Seems like he is after that action-packed blockbuster role from what I can see, but does he pull it off? Drake also got some of the video's inspiration from Michael Jackson's 'Moonwalker', that is, without the flashy choreography of course!

Justin Timberlake performs 'Take Back The Night' & 'TKO' on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’...

Pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake visited 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' last night to do more promo for his upcoming new album!

He delivered rousing performances for latest singles 'Take Back The Night' and 'TKO', shutting down the entire block in the process! Promo continued over on Jimmy Fallon for Timberlake Tuesdays. For that appearance, he acted out a hilarious skit showing us how much we sound like dumb asses when we use hashtags during a Twitter convo in real life. Though you gotta admire how charming enough he is to pull that one off! JT's upcoming LP 'The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2' drops in stores on Sept 30th!

Rihanna & Teyana Taylor: Nastiest Twitter beef EVER!

It all started with an Instagram video.

Rihanna posted a video of her male hairstylist performing a parody of Teyana Taylor singing Anita Baker's 'Caught Up In The Rapture', while rocking a curly wig, snapback, and sneakers. A fuming Teyana told Rihanna "don’t play with me" before encountering a barrage of abuse from Rihanna's Navy.

Then Rihanna responded, telling Teyana she refuses to help her career with a mention, unless she was paid first. Ri's BFF Melissa Forde also chimed in with some defensive tweets before Rihanna proclaimed to hate "broke bitches". Her Twitter heading was updated to show Teyana's "poor" networth of $500,000 and comparing it with her own - $90,000,000. This resulted in Teyana taking aim at Rihanna's past domestic abuse.

Video Premiere: Cher Lloyd feat. T.I. - 'I Wish'...

Check out the flirty visuals for Cher Lloyd's new single ‘I Wish’ featuring rapper T.I. The clip shows Cher working in a club, as one of the waitresses vying for the attention of her crush (in this case T.I, who was looking pretty fine I gotta admit). Other scenes show her frolicking with the kitchen boy, whipping out the champagne and just having lots and lots of fun!

Cher seems to love playing a waitress as I'm pretty sure she's played this role before in a music video. It might have been her ideal job if she hadn't auditioned for The X Factor, struck big and then dissed Cheryl Cole, the very woman who put her there. However, she HAS humbled herself from those bratty days and and thank goodness for that. This young madam has been wishing for a lot of things and most of them seems to have come true already. Cute song.

Jessie J & Brandy perform ‘Conquer The World’ at iTunes festival...

Earlier tonight at London's iTunes festival, an awestruck Jessie J brought out her idol Brandy to duet with her on their empowering anthem 'Conquer The World'. On that same day, Jessie released her sophomore album 'Alive' in the UK, so why not celebrate it in a big way?

Both ladies belted their asses off during their parts but there was nothing narcissistic or competitive about their delivery. They gave each other supportive glances, nodding approvingly when the other wasn't singing. Plus, Jessie looked like she couldn't quite believe it. Such a moving moment. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope they release this as a single at some point.

New Music: Blaque - 'Summertime Ridin'...

Summer may be over, but that shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying a hot new summer bop courtesy of R&B group Blaque. Their new song 'Summertime Ridin' received an exclusive premiere over at YouKnowIGotSoul, and it's flaming haaawt!!!!

Produced by Lewis Rocc and Matty P, the feel-good record features an extremely catchy hook and beach-filled lyrics behind its bass pounding beat. Surviving members Shamari and Brandi are currently working on a new album, which will be dedicated to the late Natina Reed who passed away last October. The group were founded by the late Lisa 'Lefteye' Lopes from legendary R&B group TLC. And it's eerie how both groups have lost rapping members to tragic car accidents at around the same age. Take a listen to 'Summertime Ridin' below.

Album stream: Justin Timberlake - 'The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2'...

Click here to stream Justin Timberlake's new album 'The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2', courtesy of iTunes.

Earlier this year, JT had the biggest comeback and best-selling album with 'The 20/20 Experience'. While the album didn't live up to [my] expectations, many others brought it in droves because the hype after a six year hiatus was too real and the thirst needed to be quenched. Now he has sold over two million copies in the States and hopes this new one will sell just as well (due September 30th). The 11-track project has two collabs - Drake on 'Cabaret' and Jay Z on 'Murder'. The second half does sound like it may be better but we shall soon see.

TLC unwraps artwork & tracklist for greatest hits album ‘20’...

The best-selling female group of all time has just unveiled the official artwork and tracklist for their greatest hits album '20' (due October 15th). The upcoming project will commemorate their 20-plus year legacy and will feature a new track written by Ne-Yo called 'Meant To Be'

I'm feeling the paper mache artwork and how it reflects previous album covers ('CrazySexyCool', 'FanMail', etc) but this tracklist does not entice me, whatsoever. All the tracks that are listed here are already owned by fans, and one new song just isn't good enough. What happened to the Lady Gaga penned 'Posh Life'? I know the demo is out there but I would have loved to hear TLC's version of the song.

Album Stream: Lorde – ‘Pure Heroine’...

Sixteen year old New Zealander Lorde (real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor) makes her debut here on Toya'z World. The talented singer/songwriter has been dominating Stateside charts everywhere with latest hit single 'Royals', which is lifted off her debut album 'Pure Heroine'.

Lorde's music is upbeat radio-friendly pop with some indie touches, and her hipster style is reminiscent to Lana Del Rey no matter how hard she tries to distance herself from those pesky comparisons. She's previously dropped an EP, titled 'The Love Club' and her debut album is due for release next week on September 30th. Her sound is pretty versatile but don't take my word for it though. Watch her latest video for 'Royals', listen to her new single 'Team' and stream her entire album courtesy of VH1 inside.

New Music: Michelle Williams debuts second single ‘Fire’...

The word 'gospel' and 'banger' is not really exclusive when putting them together in the same sentence. However, Michelle Williams stays true to her spiritual roots on second single 'Fire'. The Harmony Samuels produced cut is lifted off her upcoming Gospel album ‘Journey To Freedom’ and follows up her critically acclaimed single, 'If We Had Your Eyes'.

This tune certainly lives up to its name and sees Michelle embracing Jesus in her life describing it as "fire caught up in her bones". She tapped photographer Derek Blanks, long time hair stylist Kim Kimble and fashion stylist Jason Bolin for the artwork and it looks fierce. The song has an Island-tinged sound to it and although it IS a banger with an inspirational message, you would not pop your vagina to it at the club. But I'm still itching to get my dance on. Best not eh?

New Music: Little Mix debut their new lead single 'Move'...

Early this morning, UK girl group Little Mix woke up bright and early to premiere their new lead single 'Move' on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show. So, does it live up to expectations? Well, this one is a funky bop consisting of flirtatiously fun lyrics and a not so-defined chorus but you can still sing along to it for the most part.

The track is very well produced, but the one thing lacking is a killer chorus (forgettable). However, they manage to make up for it with some really nice adlibs, and although it's not instant, the song is way better than most of what's dominating the charts right now. In fact, sonically, it's risky for them and not generic by any means. I'm actually drawn to it simply because the production is very Pharrell-ish. As of now, I don't know who produced it but the gals co-wrote it themselves.

Full concert: Miguel performs at iHeartRadio festival...

Flamboyant singer-songwriter Miguel brought his funkadelic brand of hip-hop and R&B to day two of the iHeartRadio music festival, last night. He was introduced by Steve Harvey, and served up a tasty 20-minute set of hits from his two albums. Some of the songs included 'Adorn' and a solo rendition of '#Beautiful'. After performing his set, he urged the crowd to “have a good night and make some bad decisions.”

By bad, we mean quickie sex in a toilet cubicle, breaking your hostel curfew or treating yourself to a really bad perm, which he'd know about. Anything other than getting yourself arrested for DUI like what happened to him recently. I know he's trying to live up to this rocker image but he also needs to show some care when adopting this care-free attitude. Check out his stirring set below.

Sunday 22 September 2013

Full concert: Bruno Mars performs at iheartRadio festival...

There's no doubt that Bruno Mars is an extraordinary performer. But I still don't think he's done enough to headline next years halftime Superbowl. It's a massive leap from somebody as established and well respected as Beyoncé. He just isn't on her level. And a dozen mountains will need to be climbed before he even reaches the level of Michael Jackson, Prince and Madonna (previous headliners).

The bar seems to have lowered making it easier for someone like Miley Cyrus to qualify in 2015. It's like, you will never get into Oxford or Cambridge with just an average C as the entry requirements are pretty strict so why should this be any different? I just don't feel Bruno has an A* career despite his talent.

Katy Perry's poor attempt at hood during 'Dark Horse' performance at iHeartRadio festival...

Every major white chick in pop music has to have an urban hood anthem THIS ERA. From Miley Cyrus, to Lady Gaga and now Katy Perry. And we just know Britney Spears is going to come with one later on down the line. But not everyone can pull it off. And a swag-less Katy Perry is one of them.

You can't blame a trick for trying to channel the fabulous Rihanna, especially if Rihanna is your bestie. So really, that should have at least served as an advantage. But not in Katy's case. She looked so awkward and stiff trying to do her little hood routine at last nights iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas. For the performance, she was assisted by rapper Juicy J while serving their collaboration 'Dark Horse' live, for the very first time. What we got from it is that Katy cannot dance to save her life! But it was certainly fun seeing her try!

Full concert: Justin Timberlake debuts ‘True Blood’ & more at iHeartRadio festival...

With HBO hit series 'True Blood' coming to an end *sob*, Justin Timberlake decided to honour the show with a new song of the same name. It's not exactly a memorial to Eric Northman but he does sing about a spirit-evoking woman who knows how to bring out his inner demon!

The orchestral-laced number is sinister and dark, but despite it's haunting overtones, the track still has that funk and piercing strings we can groove to for 9 minutes and 30 everlasting seconds! JT debuted the track last night while headlining the second evening of the iHeartRadio festival at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. He performed his past and present hits, and debuted another new song called 'Only When I Walk Away' from his forthcoming LP 'The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2' (due September 30th). Enclosed is the audio recording of 'True Blood' while his full set can be watched below.

New Music: Kelis - 'Been Given A Morning'...

UPDATE: Kelis confirms that 'Been Given A Morning' is five years old and berates the "thirsty" producer for leaking it without her consent. But I've decided to keep the post up anyway, because it IS a great song and I think she should be proud of it regardless.

So sadly, the song won't appear as the next track off her upcoming new album, 'FOOD', which really is a shame. Oh well. Produced by Basshitter, the stirring ballad is a jazzy fusion of R&B, soul and some elements of electronica, along with sultry vocals. If you can't wait to hear what's she's cooked up in the studio, give this new-ish/old tune a listen although we now know it won't be representative of her latest sound. It's actually pretty good and she's never cared for radio popularity.

Lazy Spears is only too happy to namedrop 'Work Bitch' at iHeartRadio festival...

"My girl is about to work bitch!"

Such an awkward song plug if ever I've seen one. Nobody reacted to it and she seemed uncomfortable saying the B word. Honestly Ms. Britney Spears, it's great that you've found yourself a legit stylist around these parts. But are we really here just to see you namedrop your latest single as a new form of promo? Pst!

You should actually be performing it at every given opportunity, not introducing the biggest attention whore in pop, who is doing waaay better than you are at this point. STOP PROMOTING MILEY GOTDAMN CYRUS. And start promoting your own sh*t. Got that? As for her look, while the weave job could have been blended better, the make-up looks nice and I see some spark in her eye for once. Say goodbye to dead eye, ya'll!

Chris Brown performs at iHeartRadio festival & discusses J.Lo album...

A dance-heavy set was certainly what Chris Brown delivered at this weekend's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. The majority of the vocals in the elaborate dance numbers appeared to receive much aid from a pre-recorded backtrack but for what it was worth, he entertained his crowd.

Breezy closed his 30-minute set with 'Fine China' and the crowd sang along with him unanimously. He also performed 'Beautiful People', 'She Ain't You', 'Deuces', 'Beat It' by Sean Kingston, 'Look At Me Now', 'Strip' and a few others. During an interview backstage, he confirmed that his album 'X' will be released in November (as previously reported here). He also revealed the titles of two songs he wrote for the upcoming album of Jennifer Lopez - 'Same Girl' and 'Emotions'. At the end of his set, he thanked all of his fans who “make me who I am today”. Watch a couple of performances from his set below.

New Music: Jennifer Hudson feat. T.I. – ‘I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)’...

With Pharrell scoring it big with the funky/disco influences on Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' and Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky', it is no surprise he's continuing to ride that wave. Jennifer Hudson has a feel-good, disco-inspired cut called 'I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)', which he produced. Once again, it features rapper T.I. (if it aint broke, eh?). I just hope he cleared the sample this time, if ever there was one.

The song made it's way online over the weekend and the sound is pretty cohesive with the descriptions she previously described for her third studio album. This actually does have some 70s nostalgia to it but at the same time it's not your typical love ballad as it has an interesting mix of soul and dance music. I'm not in love with it to be honest, but hey, at least it's still bop-worthy. Take a listen inside.

Chris Brown covers 'JET', speaks about Rihanna, & does a whole lot of venting...

In the October 14th issue of JET magazine, Chris Brown seems to have a lot of things to get off his chest. His face is full of uncertainty, but at least he neatened up that facial hair for once. Nice change from the unkempt druggie look he's been sporting as of late.

In his cover story, he berates the media for their "yellow journalism" and for only concentrating on the negative while ignoring his good deeds. He shows frustration at Jay Z getting a pass despite stabbing a man and selling drugs. He speaks on being able to relate to Trayvon Martin due to racism, and his struggle to control his anger issues. He addresses his relationships with Karrueche Tran and Rihanna. We recall how it resulted in a love triangle where he was dating both of them at the same time.

Drake performs 'Hold On, We’re Going Home' & speaks about Rihanna on Ellen...

Someone should tell Drake he is not the next Marvin Gaye. If he were to audition for American Idol, his singing voice would never pass. But I really like his new single 'Hold On, We’re Going Home', not because it's an R&B song but because it's real groovy. I can gel with it. Earlier today, he performed it on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' to promote his third studio album 'Nothing Was The Same', which drops in stores next Tuesday.

For the performance, he received assistance from his OVO Sound signee Majid Jordan. The track nicely sits at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The interview portion saw the 26-year-old rapper grilled about some of the famous women he’s dated including Rihanna and Tyra Banks. He claims he had his "moment" with Rih and says she's a "great girl". Just don't ask him about Kim Kardashian because he's not having none of that at all. In fact, his reaction is quite hilarious.

New Music: Justin Timberlake debuts repetitive new single ‘TKO’...

With the length of a JT song, you can shower, brush your teeth, eat breakfast and go for a jog and the song still wouldn't be over. The latest new single to debut off his upcoming album goes by the name 'TKO', which is 7-minutes long. The urban break-up anthem is a collaboration with frequent partner-in-crime Timbaland, which is driven by a thumping beat, bass heavy synths, and a beatbox interlude.

Although the production is classic Timbaland, this sounds like a boring 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' leftover. I hate to say it but this era has been such a huge letdown for me. I feel his work with Timbaland is starting to sound too repetitive and samey. I wish he partnered with Pharrell again or hooked himself up with some new producers. He does not need Timbaland. His name alone would sell him regardless of who he hooks up with in the future.

Video Premiere: Celine Dion - 'Loved Me Back To Life'...

Earlier this week, Celine Dion premiered a poorly edited video of her new single 'Loved Me Back To Life'. The visuals were full of long distance shots to a point where you were better off just watching the fan footage instead. I think her camp finally got the memo after the heavy criticism because they yanked the video off her YouTube channel and only just re-premiered a better edited cut.

Sure, I've seen some amazing performance videos in my time, from Michael Jackson to Madonna and vice versa. And although you don't get the same level of spark in a Celine video, at least she cared enough to revise the visuals so that fans get a fuller experience of that night. I still hope we get a real music video at some point though. Check it out below.

Mutya Keisha Siobhan react to comeback single 'Flatlining' on the chart...

Yeah yeah, that was lame (and predictable) but I DID say the headlines would be relentless. Mutya Keisha Siobhan were hoping to set the chart alight with their comeback single ‘Flatline’ because it was their first single as an original trio since 1998 (when they were first called The Sugababes).

Sadly, they did not set the chart alight with the Dev Hynes-produced cut and it only managed to peak at a very disappointing #50 in the UK charts. Keisha Buchanan tells Digital Spy that they’re not bothered about the song flopping, because they care more about the album and “not just the singles”. She also hinted at stuff happening behind the scenes that could very well have contributed to the song not becoming a hit.

Ciara unwraps steamy artwork for new single ‘Overdose’...

One can never overdose on too much sex, but sadly for Ciara, that effect was missing in action for the enthusiasm of music buyers. Her latest album just aint selling! Here's the new saucy artwork for her new single 'Overdose' provided to you exclusively by JustJared.com. What we get from it is that, her and Future have a very healthy sex life, but the 'future' of her music career is seemingly on its last legs.

I don't even think 'Overdose' can save Ciara's album at this point. It should have been one of the songs taken into priority during the earlier stages of her promotion. Hell, I'll even go as far as to say it should actually have been her lead single. Still, better late than never right? And it IS a really good pop song from her. The single, produced by Josh Abraham and Oliver Goldstein and written by Ciara, Ali Tamposi, and Livvi Franc, is set to hit the radio on October 14th. Listen to it below.

Video Premiere: Mel B - 'For Once In My Life'...

The Spice Girls were one of my biggest guilty pleasures when I was at school growing up. I'm proud I was old enough to get into them when they were at the height of their fame with 'Wannabe'. But then they split, did their solo stuff and released some bombers. Well, Mel B has had several failed attempts at the solo thing and she's trying again with a new single called 'For Once In My Life', for which the visuals debuted yesterday.

The only thing this visual will inspire you to do is get yourself down to the gym if need be, because Mel's body is absolutely insane. But sadly, you WON'T be inspired to watch it again. She strips down naked in the street, cuts off her hair and kisses a clone of herself at a house party, which was shot on the former set of Wisteria Lane in Desperate Housewives. By the looks of it, I'd say she funded this hot mess herself.
