Video Premiere: Alexis Jordan debuts fresh urban sound for new single 'Gone'...

Out goes dance-pop, and in comes ratchet urban banger. Seems like Roc Nation belle Alexis Jordan has taken some inspiration from the boss's wife. Today she debuts her new song 'Gone', which also came with a music video. In it, she struts along the streets like a bad-ass while unveiling her sexier new image and attitude. The song is a far cry from all the dance-pop released previously, including her massive UK hit 'Happiness'.  She's 21-years-old now so she obviously felt it was time to take on a more mature direction, even becoming Rihanna's possible new rival.

Robin Thicke dedicates ‘Lost Without U’ to Paula Patton at tour kickoff...

Robin Thicke is desperately trying to win back his wife. It may take more than a heartfelt performance to do the trick, but at least he's trying. Last night, he kicked off his 'Blurred Lines' tour at the GMU Patriot Center in Washington, D.C. He chose the moment to dedicate his hit song 'Lost Without U' to Paula Patton. Earlier this week, the high school sweethearts announced their separation after almost nine years of marriage. “For y’all that don’t know, my wife and I got separated a few days ago, but I’m trying to get my girl back,” he told the crowd before performing the track. “She’s a good woman”. Rihanna's outfit leaves nothing to the imagination...

Rihanna has taken over Paris Fashion Week! Following her appearances at the Balmain and Lanvin shows, Rihanna gave everyone an eyeful of pierced nipple in a mesh top at the Balmain after-party last night. At the show, she chilled out with actress Jessica Alba. And earlier today, she became the sexy lady in red at the Christian Dior show rocking garter stockings, a red fur coat, and shades.

Mariah Carey's new single 'You're Mine' vanishes from Hot 100 after one week...

As Mariah Carey's new single implies, her love is for "eternity" but the same can't be said for the love or lack thereof that is being shown towards her new single. 'You're Mine (Eternal)' has disappeared from the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at #88 last week and this week found itself kicked out of the top 1000 on iTunes USA. MC didn't help her case when she put out a snoozefest music video that lacked substance. 

The question that can now be asked is... what does this mean for her new album, which is currently penciled in for a May 6th release?

'Britney Jean' drops out of Billboard 200...

Due to ZERO promotion this era, Britney's worst ever album 'Britney Jean' was doomed to flop. This week, it has officially fallen off the Billboard 200 chart just 3 months after release, plummeting from #113 to out of the top 200 completely. The eye watering news doesn't stop there either. 

More than 100 radio stations have dropped potential single 'Now That I Found You' from their playlist this week.  My two pence inside.

Ariana Grande & Chris Brown flex it up at dance rehearsals...

A while ago, it was confirmed that Chris Brown and Ariana Grande recorded a duet for his forthcoming new album 'X' (due May 5th). Both of them took to their social networking platforms to share this photo of themselves together in a dance rehearsal which took place at an undisclosed studio last night. It's believed the two were rehearsing for an upcoming music video or a live performance. 

Whatever the case, this duet between new-school Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson is really, truly happening.

Rihanna for Paris Fashion Week...

Fierce fashionista Rihanna is completely owning Paris Fashion Week. Today, she rocked up at the Balmain womenswear show, rocking a daring monochromatic, army-green leather jacket, skirt and cargo coat. A plunging ensemble lifted from Rousteing’s Balmain Pre-Fall 2014 collection. 

Then she later made an appearance at the Lanvin show rocking a shorter hair length, a grey fur shrug and matching pants for Lanvin AW14.  She pulls off both looks nicely but the Balmain ensemble definitely wins.

Rihanna joins Drake on stage in Paris + readies concept album for November...

Drake's 'Would You Like A Tour?' concert came to Paris last night. He brought out Rihanna for the first live performance of their duet 'Take Care' and she performed her strip club anthem 'Pour It Up' as he danced beside her. There was so much intimacy ON stage as well as OFF it. While in Paris, they had dinner at the famed L’Avenue restaurant and then they were seen clubbing it up last night before heading to his hotel. It's pretty safe to say these two are back ON!

In related news, Rihanna is set to record a concept album based on the animated film 'Home.'

Video Premiere: Beyoncé – ‘Partition’...

It was previously reported by Hits Daily Double that Beyoncé was lining up the sex-fueled ‘Partition’ as her next single. This was further cemented when she released the sizzling visuals to VEVO today. The song, co-produced by Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Key Wane, sees Beyoncé re-enacting the sexy routine at her current UK shows.

It's pretty much the same video that the entire world watched on December 13th but I'm so happy to see the song getting the single treatment. It's one of my favourite songs on the album, and when Bey combines ratchet urban with sex, the results are explosive!

Mariah Carey performs new single 'You're Mine' at 2014 BET Honors...

The 2014 BET Honors was broadcast last night, and Mariah Carey used that very platform to deliver her first televised performance of new single 'You're Mine (Eternal)'. So far, the song has been struggling to make a significant impact, but are we surprised?

As I say, the ballad sounds like past work and the music video was just lazy and boring. Why is she so hesitant to release an uptempo number? It might just do the trick. She sang on top of a piano while her massive tits drank in all the attention. Whether lip-synced or live (I'm beyond caring at this point), perhaps this can turn things around? Um... maybe.

Rihanna mobbed by fans in Paris... insane!

Earlier today, Rihanna was swarmed by a sea of fans while entering her hotel in Paris. She was almost crushed by her screaming Navy who chased her car throughout the entire journey in an attempt to glimpse her. 

When she came out to enter her hotel, the Mandarin, she JUST ABOUT made it inside safely. I'm shocked. Like, REALLY shocked. Those fans were rabid as hell. They were out of control! Some were even knocked to the ground and security had one hell of a job getting her inside. This is what you call Michael Jackson level of chaos. Oh, the star power!

Robin Thicke & Paula Patton announce their separation...

High school sweethearts Robin Thicke and Paula Patton have announced their separation after nearly nine years of marriage. In a joint statement to PEOPLE, they declare that, “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”

Their last public appearance together was at last month's Grammy Awards. I wonder if it had anything to do with his lewd antics of late such as this, this and this. She wants to be in a respectful marriage and he just wants to be a playboy and have his cake. A recipe for disaster, obviously.

Rita Ora performs for Milan Fashion Week...

Last night, Rita Ora performed at the Philipp Plein Fashion Show in Milan, during the Women Fashion Week fall/winter (2014/2015). 

She put on an LBD and opened with 'Facemelt'. Then worked the country look for 'How We Do' and 'Radioactive'. The performance comes after her runway stint at Jeremy Scott's debut fashion show last week. She is also expected to return to the UK to kick-start a full blown promotional campaign for her new album and assisting new single 'I Will Never Let You Down' (produced by boyfriend Calvin Harris).

Prince & Adele duet sounds epic, if it were true...

UK tabloid The Sun is widely known not to be very creditable. So, when something sounds way too good to be true, the chances are, it probably is. 

Last week, Adele rocked up at Prince's concert in London, which was also attended by Kate Moss, Rita Ora and Stephen Fry. Allegedly, Prince and Adele had a business meeting to chat about a possible duet. The issue is, a rep has already shot down that rumour.

Chris Brown accuses former manager of leaking his new music...

Earlier today, Chris Brown accused his former manager Tina Davis of leaking new music off his upcoming new album 'X'. Apparently, he allegedly sacked her which of course would arouse some bitter feelings. Perhaps enough to sabotage his career? Chris seems to think so. Davis had managed him since the beginning of his career. Following their separation earlier this year, he has been managed by Def Jam VP of A&R, Bu Thiam.

Soooo, I'm not here for a Rihanna feature with a bland hook. Neither am I here for one where her verses just aren't beefy enough. But wait. Does she even have her own verse on this or does she just serve as a shoddy back-up singer? Boooo! 

The Rihanna collaboration that was set to feature on Chris Brown's upcoming new album 'X' took a leak last night. The breezy, slow burning 'Counterfeit' features Wiz Khalifa and was recorded around the time Rih and Chris rekindled their romance in 2012.

Chris Brown announces release date for new album ‘X’...

After multiple push-backs, Chris Brown has announced that his long-awaited sixth studio album 'X' will drop in stores on his 25th birthday (May 5th).

Will the album still feature his collab with Rihanna? How will he fair now that he will be up against Mariah Carey and Lil Wayne? Can he take himself out of this musical slump following his stint in rehab?

Only time will tell.

Lady Gaga on the set of new music video...

Last week, Lady Gaga shot a brand new music video at Hearst Castle in California. Here is a brand new pic of her on the set rocking an outfit designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. 

Gaga is directing the music video with the help of two other filmmakers, Nicole Ehrlich and Andrew Listermann. According to Remar Sutton, board member of the Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation, it’s probably “the most extensive shoot she’s done”. There is still no confirmation what song the video is for but 'G.U.Y', 'Venus' and 'ARTPOP' are the top speculations.

Justin Timberlake performs 'Not A Bad Thing' on 'Fallon'...

Looks like JT recovered rather nicely following a tour cancellation earlier this week (laryngitis). The guitar-strumming singer took to the stage on 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon' last night to perform 'Not A Bad Thing' with his band The Tennessee Kids. 

Viewers were also treated to a fifth installment of Fallon and JT's popular 'History of Rap' series.

Rihanna & Eminem announce joint ‘The Monster’ tour...

Rihanna and Eminem have announced a three-city tour together called 'The Monster' tour. The pair will reportedly play stadiums this August in New York, Los Angeles, and Detroit. The tour is named after their #1 mega smash which topped the Billboard Hot 100 last year. He is currently on his 'Rapture' tour in Australia and Rihanna wrapped up her global 'Diamonds' tour last year. 

Can a three-day tour even be considered a tour? Really? Maybe they're testing the waters for additional shows shortly after.

Mariah Carey discusses new single, album + more on 'The Ralphie Show'...

Despite struggling to reclaim her chart glory, Mariah Carey says she will never jump on the EDM bandwagon because she wants to stay true to herself which is R&B music. Dance beats will always be reserved for her remixes only.   

During a recent visit to 'The Ralphie Show', MC discusses new single 'You’re Mine (Eternal)' which debuted at #88 on the Billboard Hot 100.  Worryingly, a lackluster 32,000 downloads accounted for 62% of its charting points. She also discusses the new album (due May 6th), which will now have a brand new album title.

Beyoncé completely changes setlist for the 'Mrs. Carter Show' + rocks new costumes...

Several hours ago, Beyoncé kicked off the second leg of her ‘Mrs. Carter Show' UK tour at Glasgow’s ‘SSE Hydro' arena. The rebooted show saw a drastic change to her setlist which included more than half of the songs on her latest #1 album ‘Beyonce’ being executed live for the very first time. 

She is no longer touring for '4'. She is now exclusively touring for the new album. This means it's likely she will take it back to the States, Latin America, Asia and Australia yet again. I will be surprised if she doesn't. Check out the revamped setlist and photos of her new costumes inside. Stay tuned for videos.

Christina Aguilera is pregnant again...

According to Us Weekly, Christina Aguilera is pregnant. The news of her pregnancy comes just six days after she announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Matthew Rulter. It will be their first child together. Aggy already has a six-year-old son, Max, from her first marriage with Jordan Bratman, whom she shares joint custody with. It kind of screams shotgun circumstances to me, as if marriage only came into the equation because she got knocked up. I'm not doubting their love but the timing is just a bit questionable. However, a baby is a blessing regardless. Congrats if true!

Rihanna celebrates 26th birthday...

Cake, cake, cake, cake, cake... Rihanna, seen in  Aspen, Colorado, poses with her scrummy chocolate cookie cake while celebrating turning 26 on Thursday (February 20th). She has spent the entire week in a snow-located cabin with all of her best friends and shared these celebratory photos via Instagram. She looks soooo cute and happy and carefree! At 26, she is still so young, but I really can't tell the difference from when she first debuted almost nine years ago. Happy birthday, you bad bish!

New Music: Ashanti feat. Beenie Man – ‘First Real Love’ [new single]...

Ashanti hooks up with dancehall king Beenie Man for her Island-flavoured new single 'First Real Love', produced by Teetimus. It is actually a bop and very catchy but Ashanti sounds like the feature artist on her own song. When I listen to it, I think about carnivals and fun-filled street parades so this is definitely the type of track that should have been released in the summer. 'First Real Love' will be featured on her upcoming new album 'Braveheart', due March 4th.

Jessie J's look at 2014 Brit Awards after-party...

Another day. Another fashion faux pas from Jessie J. This time she threw on another Julien Macdonald (Black and Gold Fringe) catsuit from the line's Fall 2013 collection. Again, it's not something I find particularly appealing but at least she ditched the cheap wig and decided to opt for her natural short do instead. As a result, some kind of progress was made I guess, although she should still consider finding herself a brand new stylist.

If Nicole Scherzinger continues to lose any more weight, in another six months time, she is going to end up looking like Heidi Klum's alter ego. She wore this skirt, cleavage-baring bralet and bomber jacket made from pale pink snake skin, which came straight from the atelier of Fyodor Golan and his SS14 collection. I wasn't feeling either look on her last night. I think this pink is too overpowering and her face has been looking really harsh lately. That might be down to the weight loss AND the unflattering make-up.

It must be hard to party when you have excessive pieces of material eating away at your neck and shoulders. Rita Ora stepped out in this John Rocha Fall 2014 Black Sheer dress, complete with Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator heels. The elaborate layered neckline is really dramatic and looks uncomfortable. I can only assume she was probably paid to wear it. Just when she was doing so well after rocking that lovely yellow Prada dress last night.

The last time Beyoncé performed at a major awards ceremony, she was called a "whore" for her risque stage attire. Other than Brits host James Corden repeatedly saying "shit" in awed astonishment, no one had cause to complain really. At least, no one could call her a whore this time round. Bey didn't hit up any of the afterparties because she had to board a plane back to Glasgow where she is set to kick off the second leg of her UK tour tomorrow night.

Backstage, she danced with hubby Jay Z and posed for a couple of pics in that stunning, yet classy Vrettos Vrettakos dress. Check 'em out inside!

Beyoncé bedazzles with ‘XO’ performance at Brit Awards...

It's been over a decade since Beyoncé graced the Brit Awards stage. It was a big deal when she returned for the first time to perform her latest single 'XO' off her latest new album. She looked "flawless" in a Vrettos Vrettakos Couture Green Zirgon crystal  dress. A dress that came complete with sheer panel sleeves and over 400,000 crystals. I'm not sure how I felt about this stripped back arrangement but the vocals were on point and her body looked insane.

Tomorrow, she kicks off the second UK leg of her 'Mrs. Carter Show' world tour in Glasgow, Scotland, where she and her dancers have been locked in 17-hour rehearsals.

Nicole Scherzinger's red carpet look at Brit Awards...

RCA Records president Colin Barlow confirms that Nicole Scherzinger has officially signed with the label. Her new album will be executive produced by both The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. She recently announced that she was leaving UK's X Factor judging panel this year to focus on her music career. A career that hasn't been met with much commercial enthusiasm in the past. Still, she celebrated the news earlier tonight by stepping out at London's Brit Awards in this bondage-inspired get-up.

She wore black pants, leather bralet and a harness, complete with golden heels and jewellery. Not one of her best looks, unfortunately.

Rita Ora's red carpet look at Brit Awards...

It's a rarity for Rita Ora to slay any type of red carpet these days. She's had soooo many misses that it's become expectant of her. Well, not tonight, because look who was looking 'Hot Right Now' in a stunning yellow Prada dress with the plunging neckline? Honestly, this is the best Rita has looked in since... forever! I love the nude lippie, stripped back make-up. I just don't like the green paneling at the sides of this dress. It brings tackiness to an otherwise nice outfit. However, whoever did her up tonight deserves a gold medal.

And when did her boyfriend Calvin Harris get so damn hot?!?! These two were clearly the head turners tonight.

Jessie J's red carpet look at Brit Awards...

Oh dear. Someone clearly isn't having a very good week. That's not a good look again, Jessie J. Apparently, she wore this skintight embellished bodysuit from Julien Macdonald's spring 2014 collection and looked really hideous in frosty lilac-coloured lipstick. It's not really red carpet appropriate and Jennifer Lopez would easily tell her that this is HER outfit for the stage. Jessie has the body to own any outfit she wants, so really, I'm just not understanding why her hair and makeup team continue to let her down so badly.

Definitely one of the worst looks I’ve witnessed on the red carpet in a long time.

Rebecca Ferguson's red carpet look at Brit Awards...

Neo-soul/pop sensation Rebecca Ferguson slipped her curvy body into this knee-length figure-hugging white shift dress which featured some mesh netting. She spiced up the look with these bright yellow pumps. Now I'm totally on the fence about the choppy two-toned layered hair. It could have been groomed a little better in my honest opinion but she was truly working this dress.

When you have curves, flaunt them! I think that was pretty much the general concept when stepping out in this type of number.

Rita Ora at ELLE Style Awards + previews new single...

For her appearance at London's Elle Style Awards, Rita Ora opted for an excessive layered lace tulle gown, fresh from Marchesa's New York Fashion Week show. This look is not really my cup of tea. I mean... you couldn't wear it to dinner or the club without looking too OTT. It's too prom-esque/wedding-inspired. I'd also like to see her switch up the red lipstick for a change. That same look gets old real QUICK.

The hair looks ratchet, with roots in need of a severe touch-up. Or better yet, why doesn't she just go natural (darker) instead? She'd look so much better.

Jessie J at ELLE Style Awards...

Messy. Messy. Messy. Jessie J attended the ELLE Style Awards in London rocking a slashy top-to-toe look from Tom Ford's Spring/Summer 2014 collection, last night. There was just too much noise going on with her look. She really should have opted for a plain dress to go with those "boots", or plain boots to go with that dress. It's no wonder she made the worst dressed lists this morning!

I also like her much better with the shorter hair. It gives her more sass, as opposed to just looking, well, basic. This length doesn't do anything for her, really.

Marvin & Rochelle Humes at Simon Gao fashion show + music video premiere...

Class, elegance and a happy marriage. Marvin and Rochelle Humes looked very smart when they both attended the Mercedes-Benz & Simon Gao A/W 2014 Show at Somerset House in London, last night.

Roch looked lovely in a blue Tophshop cami which she paired with a smart black Victoria Beckham coat, Reiss trousers and Christian Louboutin shoes. Her handsome hubby (formerly of JLS) looked just as striking in a black three-piece pinstripe pant suit.

He sure loves himself a pinstriped pant suit doesn't he?

Lady Gaga performs ‘ARTPOP’ on ‘Fallon’...

Last night, Lady Gaga delivered something extraterrestrial to ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.’

It was one of Fallon's debut episodes for his ‘Tonight Show’ installment and she was there to help kick things off. Gaga performed her album title track ‘ARTPOP’, which was a weird choice given that she shot a new music video recently (allegedly for 'G.U.Y'). Why she performed this, I couldn't tell you. Gaga's performance was trippy as hell and she was doing her best convulsive Lorde impersonation on set.

Check out the music video for Kelis' new single 'Jerk Ribs', lifted off her upcoming new album ‘Food.’ 

The video has a very raw and gritty feel in regards to its behind-the-scenes approach. I wasn't expecting anything too extravagant or glossy but a bit of herbs and spice wouldn't have gone amiss. In the video, she gets dolled up for various photoshoots and is seen performing at a garden party.

There seems to be a power struggle going on in Lady Gaga's crotch area. This is what she wore during her visit to Jimmy Fallon last night. If she were to open her legs any wider, we'd be subjected to an unfruitful wardrobe malfunction of the female anatomy. Just as well she didn't trip up on that rat tail weave then.

I'm just not understanding why she refuses to give up the outlandish antics. Judging by the poor performance of 'ARTFLOP', folks just aren't here for it anymore.

Over the weekend, Trey Songz made the announcement that his new album would be called 'Trigga', and that it would be available to buy from June 30th. Hmmmm...

Seems this news made him a little trigga happy because Calvin Klein sent him some new briefs and he decided to put them on and take a Miley Cyrus-inspired selfie. As for the pic, I do love me a very packaged lunchbox, but right now?

During her high-energy set, Janelle Monáe delivered a swaggerific, fun-filled performance at last night’s NBA All-Star Game.

While rocking skintight white pants and a matching bomber jacket, she performed the title track off her latest album 'The Electric Lady'. Shortly after, she was assisted by the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire for their ’70s classic 'Shining Star'.

Such an explosive, funky and soulful finale and a well paid infectious tribute to New Orleans. Ms Monáe killed it!

This new Mariah edit is not that different from the original. Trey's photoshoot scenes have just been extended due to his very auto-tuned singing parts. This offers no incentive to make anybody want to watch it again. Well, unless us ladies can consider seeing a topless Trey worth it. But we can always just go to HIS VEVO channel instead and watch far more interesting videos in which we see him in all his semi-naked glory. Because this one should serve as official medical treatment for sleep deprivation.

Haaaaay, Mrs Carter! I'm on the fence about that metallic ensemble, but I love the braided updo. Nice change from the signature tresses and she looked cute. Fret not, they'll most likely be back when she resumes the second leg of her European 'Mrs. Carter Show' world tour next week. She also danced along to live performances and sipped champagne throughout the night.

I have yet to listen to Solange's 'Saint Heron' album but it's nice to see Bey always supporting her sister. I was browsing through Getty Images and she was like the only A lister that was there.

Mariah Carey shows up at radio station in her nightie...

No, no and no. It seems Ms. Carey rolled out of bed and showed up to the interview in her pink negligee and not giving two hoots about it. I was in my early 20s when my mum was Mariah's age and yeah, the embarrassment would have been crippling. Because she's actually somebody's mama. I guess you can put this down as one of Mariah's mildly insane moments. And is that a protruding stomach I see? Is she using Duran's body as a prop to hide it? I don't want to scream pregnancy too soon because her weight fluctuates and she's been known to battle with the bloat over the years. Rihanna's cover shoot for US Vogue (March 2014)...

Here's Rihanna's new cover for the March 2014 issue of US Vogue. A poor quality scan has been making its rounds but I wanted to wait for the high quality. And here it is, alongside the entire cover shoot which was lensed by David Sims. This is Rihanna's THIRD Stateside Vogue cover and her seventh one overall (correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just going on memory).

She looks good with minimal make-up but I don't like her facial expression. It looks rather forced. The cover is nice (yet simple) all the same, just not as striking as her first two covers. I've posted the entire spread inside.

Video Premiere: Mariah Carey - 'You're Mine (Eternal)'...

As lame-o as lame can be. Mariah shot this video in Puerto Rico in order to promote rainforest preservation. But it was nothing but glam shots. She just sits there topless on a rock, drenched in glitter while thinking about her man (played by Trey Songz), and he's elsewhere feeling the impact. Then suddenly, she grows wings and acquires the ability to teleport in and out of his bed, although they have no real scenes together whatsoever. Meh.
