Little Mix debut new song 'You Gotta Not' ♫♫

Here's some advice to Little Mix. 'You Gotta Not' has gotta not.

Meghan Trainor co-wrote the no-scrubs anthem, and her influence is all over the song. Not to say it's terrible. It's just forgettable. The dancehall flavoured synth cut does have its fun moments, but... it's still weak. Their new album ‘Glory Days’ hits stores on November 18th.

Christina Aguilera premieres ‘Telepathy’ video

Lip syncing during a photoshoot, and wreathing around with a disco ball sure looked like fun for Christina Aguilera

The $5 budget music video for ‘Telepathy’ (ft. Nile Rodgers) is her way of showing gratitude to fans for getting the track to #1 on the Dance Club Songs chart. It also appears on the soundtrack for the Netflix series 'The Get Down.'

Alicia Keys debuts 'Holy War' + unwraps 'Here' album tracklist ♫♫

Is it just me, or isn't there not much hype surrounding this new Alicia Keys album?

The 15-time Grammy winner unwraps the official 18-track setlist for her new album 'Here,' and even debuts a brand new song called  'Holy War.' The soulful ballad comprises minimalist arrangement of finger snaps, and acoustic strings.

Lady Gaga's official numbers for ‘Joanne’

Whether you think Lady Gaga flopped or not with 'Joanne' all depends on however way you look at it.

‘Joanne’ shifted 170K copies in pure sales during the first week. The overall figure was 201K with Sales Plus Streaming (SPS). As a result, the album tops this week’s Billboard 200. She is now only the 4th act this year to debut with 200k or higher with SPS included. Congrats!

Leona Lewis celebrates 10 years since X Factor win

With the non-existence of joke acts, 10 years ago was a time when The X Factor was worth watching.

Leona Lewis celebrated the 10th anniversary of her first X Factor audition, singing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow.’ Leona's career may not be what it was, but with talent like hers, there's no reason why she can't stick around for another 10 years. Beautiful performance.

Emeli Sandé debuts new music on Jools Holland

Emeli Sandé and those uplifting sounds of hers are always welcome, any time!

She recently visited BBC’s ‘Later With Jools Holland,’ where she debuted new song 'Highs & Lows.' She also delivered a soaring performance of her latest single 'Hurts.' Both songs are set to appear on her new album ‘Long Live The Angels’ (due November 11th).

TLC preview new songs

TLC have previewed new songs ‘Joy Ride’ and ‘Haters’ off their fifth and final studio album.

The project was funded via a Kickstarter campaign many moons ago. I'm just glad I wasn't Katy Perry who donated $5,000, because if these previews are anything to go by, they could have kept it. Listen to the snippets courtesy of Apple Music below.

Your latest on Lady Gaga...

Lady Gaga is officially performing at the 2016 American Music Awards on November 20th.

If you missed old Gaga as late, she sang her biggest hits during an episode of James Corden's ‘Carpool Karaoke.’ The sales projections for her new album ‘Joanne’ has been revised upwards to 180-190K (155-165K in pure sales.) Those SNL performances sure did wonders.

JoJo’s ‘Mad Love’ album sales

JoJo's new album ‘Mad Love’ debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 this week. It sold 25,000 units (19,000 in traditional album sales).

This is her first album in 10 years and she debuted. That's what matters. No, I'm not a fan of the album to be honest. It's like she was too afraid to go all the way R&B, but she did do the damn thang with 'Reckless.' Now that's a real album highlight!

Ciara steps out after pregnancy announcement

The worst kept secret was made official yesterday. Ciara is expecting a baby with husband Russell Wilson.

This will be his first child and for Ci, this will be her second. Her first appearance since the announcement was made at yesterday's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show, which was presented by Kate Spade New York. Mrs Wilson wears pregnancy well!

Beyoncé to perform at Grammys, Solange to perform on SNL...

Beyoncé will be performing at The Grammy Awards, according to TheBeyHiveTeam. Now it's aware that they were wrong about Bey performing at The Emmy's this year, so maybe they can win back some of their credibility if this is proven to be true. Oh yeah, and Solange has also been announced as this week's musical guest for Saturday Night Live. Sisters doing it! Yeeesssss.

Kelly Rowland previews ‘Conceited’ video

Kelly Rowland delivers the first look at the visual for her new single 'Conceited.'

Kelly has yet to reveal an official premiere date for the video despite not releasing the song in its entirety. Kelly is clearly trying to make a comeback, but looks to be testing the waters to see what sticks.

Mariah & Nick do Halloween for the kids

A latex clad Mariah Carey and a Luigi-dressed ex-husband Nick Cannon join their twins for some family Halloween fun.

Her annual bash was hosted at her Los Angeles home and was attended by Tamar Braxton, Tamika 'Tiny' Harris, and Floyd Mayweather to name the few. Mariah's fiance James Packer was nowhere to be seen. Too bad. He would have made a great Shrek!

Lady Gaga performs ‘A-Yo’ & ‘Million Reasons’ on SNL

The Tom Hanks-hosted episode was kicked off with Gaga's country pop bop 'A-Yo,' and raw, stripped-back ballad ‘Million Reasons.’

Gaga's music may be a bit on the dud side this era, but her vocals undoubtedly sound identical if not better than the studio versions. Niiiiice. Check out Gaga's musical contribution to SNL below.

Lady Gaga's sales projections for 'Joanne'

Lady Gaga's new album 'Joanne' is projected to sell 150-160K (125-135K pure sales) during the first week.

Gaga sold her album for $3 dollars on Amazon for it to sell just 125K. Under normal circumstances, this would have been good for an R&B artist but not a pop artist of Gaga's calibre. I can't imagine what the sales would have looked like for real if that deal wasn't put in place.

Mariah Carey tapes 'Carpool Karaoke' with James Corden

Mariah Carey was certainly up to something when she was spotted outside Lovi’s Delicatessen Restaurant.

She taped a Christmas edition of 'Carpool Karaoke' with James Corden in Calabasas, CA. With her festive concerts, and E! reality show lined for December, MC really is pulling out the stops to give lambs a Mimi-filled Christmas!

Janet Jackson & hubby spotted in London holding hands

Janet Jackson was all smiles as she stepped out in London with billionaire hubby, Wissam Al Mana.

This is the first time the couple have been spotted together since she fell pregnant. Janet, who has reportedly converted to Islam, was spotted in a mosque praying, so this would explain why she was decked in full Islamic dress. Janet's baby is reportedly due next month.

Keyshia Cole previews new music

As well as previewing a brand new song, Keyshia Cole says we can expect new music "next month."

Keyshia creates typical hoodrat music for women who have been cheated on. It's mostly, "he cheated, he did it with my best friend, somebody's getting their ass kicked." She's singing, but it's nothing we haven't heard before from her. Hopefully, this new album delivers.

Christina Milian sizzles in new Halloween photoshoot

Christina Milian celebrates last night’s premiere of The Rocky Horror Picture Show remake, rocking sexy Halloween costume attire.

She's pretty damn ageless, I'll give her that. Unfortunately, Christina's portrayal of Magenta received quite some criticism from fans of the original. There's no pleasing some people. But then, I've never watched the original.

Little Mix premiere 'Shout Out to My Ex' video

The music video for Little Mix's new single 'Shout Out to My Ex' is here.

It comes days after fellow girl group G.R.L. called them out for ripping off their song 'Ugly Heart.' The visuals were lighthearted and fun. Young girls everywhere now... may want to indulge in a therapeutic road trip with their besties after getting dumped by an ex. Look out for their new album ‘Glory Days,’ due November 18th.

Britney Spears returns to 'Piece Of Me'

While the much publicised Presidential debate was taking place next door, Britney Spears was kicking off the latest round of her 'Piece Of Me' residency.

Indeed, this is now her EIGHTEENTH leg, and she debuted new costumes and even revamped the show yet again. Peep some pics from last night's show in Vegas below.

Beyoncé for Ivy Park AW16

The first time Beyoncé debuted her Ivy Park metallic coat was on stage in late September during her 'Formation' world tour.

I had a metallic coat exactly like this during my teens. Same style, material and everything. Difference is, my coat was like a darker gradient of grey. Bey's line is cool I guess, but you can always find similar stuff for a lot cheaper.

Bruno Mars to open AMAs

Bruno Mars will open this year’s American Music Awards.

It will also mark his first ever AMA performance, which will promote  his forthcoming album '24K Magic', due November 18th. This year’s AMAs will broadcast live from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater on Sunday, Nov 20th, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. How excited are we?

Madonna offers oral sex for voting Hillary Clinton

“If you vote for Hillary Clinton, I will give you a blow job... and I am good.”

I suggest ya'll wait a few more months for Madonna's teeth to fall out, THEN request that blow job. Madge made her crass remarks on Tuesday night while introducing comedian Amy Schumer live on stage at Madison Square Garden. I know it was a joke, but if my mum said a joke like this...

Kelly Rowland's striking new photoshoot

Kelly Rowland debuted these edgy new images from her latest photoshoot and they're stunning!

Kelly makes no mention of what the images are for but she certainly has our attention. She just needs to stop playing around and drop that album already. A surprise project could actually do some wonders.

Rihanna rocks a Hillary Clinton T-shirt in NYC

Ahead of tonight's debate, Rihanna subtly endorses presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, while out and about in NYC.

Of course the future-seeing Queen supports Hillary. In 2011, Donald Trump slammed Rihanna for "lying" on sickness when she pulled out of performing at his charity gala in Palm Beach, Fla. Seems Rihanna was already woke in 2011.

Ciara performs at Revlon launch

Giiiirl, don't ever do that again. Don't sing a Michael Jackson song with those vocals.

Ciara might be carrying this alleged pregnancy in her throat by the sounds of it. She covered MJ and Diana Ross during the Revlon x Ciara launch at Refinery Hotel on October 18th in New York City. She was recently named as Revlon's new Global Brand Ambassador.

Mariah Carey annouces third annual Christmas concert series

Christmas Empress Mariah Carey has announced her third annual ‘All I Want For Christmas’ concerts.

The shows are set to take place at New York’s Beacon Theater once again. While doing her usual spot of glitter bombing, Mimi will be rocking her Jessica rabbit gowns with furs and sunglasses. Hopefully, all of that comes with great vocals.

Justin Timberlake talks about upcoming new album

“I would not say I’m making a country album. But I also don’t like to say I’m making an R&B album.”

Justin Timberlake's fourth studio album is still in the works. He tells BBC Breakfast that he's been in the studio with Little Big Town, Pharrell Williams, Max Martin and Timbaland. Look out for that evolutionary and progressive new album coming soon.

Lady Gaga debuts new song 'A-Yo' ♫♫

Lady Gaga's new song 'A-Yo' is a catchy slice of country-pop.

Gaga co-produced it with Mark Ronson and BloodPop. It's not all the way country, making it less likely to cross over to country formats. However, it is in deed better than the underwhelming 'Perfect Illusion.' It still wouldn't be good enough to release as a lead single, or front a comeback.

Ciara named new face of Revlon + first print ad released

Ciara has been named Revlon’s newest Global Brand Ambassador.

She will appear in national ads and commercials for the company, as well as represent their 'Choose Love' campaign. Ciara’s first print ads for the company should start appearing in magazine’s this month. She looks nice in the pic, but she's not doing a very good job of hiding that protruding stomach. #pregnancy

To vote or NOT to vote? #Election

Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?

I've seen Alicia Keys and Beyoncé encouraging their supporters to vote on November 8th. But it's like being asked to choose between a petty thief and a bank robber. They are BOTH racist! The difference is, Trump is much more forward with his, while Clinton has become very professional at hiding hers.

Frank Ocean disqualified from 2017 Grammy race

Welp! This sounds like drama and politics rolled into one.

A source confirms to Billboard that Frank Ocean's 'Blond' and visual album 'Endless' were not submitted for consideration by his labels or management. Both albums, released via Apple Music exclusively, dropped well before the 2017 Grammy eligibility cutoff date of September 30th 2016. Damn...

Teyana Taylor for 'Paper' magazine

*Thinks about how I wish I had Teyana Taylor's body while I order myself a burrito*

Teyana remarkably tributes Grace Jones in her newest spread with Paper magazine. Photography comes courtesy of Albert Watson.

Post your thoughts on Lady Gaga's new album 'Joanne'

On Monday, a store in Belgium stocked the standard version of Lady Gaga's new album 'Joanne' prematurely. The genre-bending record (due Oct. 21st) is a fusion of country, pop-rock and whatever else you can throw in.

I'm only here for 'Hey Girl' and 'Dancing In Circles', so that's that. Cue those HDD numbers!!!!!

Kelly Rowland's new cut 'Conceited' ♫♫

Kelly Rowland is giving us a small dosage of what’s to come from her next studio album.

A new snippet called 'Conceited' has just made its way online. It's R&B, but still overwhelmingly average. Kelly sounds really good vocally, but she needs to invest in better material. Either that or call Solange to write and produce some songs.

Sevyn Streeter premieres 'D4L' video

Sevyn Streeter gets in touch with her sexy alter egos Trixy, Ms. Streeter, and Kitty in her new video 'D4L.'

Foxxxxy...

Sevyn has already released three songs off her new album 'Girl Disrupted', due next year. Unfortunately, none have stuck out so far. Meanwhile, the Mike Ho-directed visuals can be watched below.

JoJo's sales predictions for ‘Mad Love’

JoJo's new album ‘Mad Love’ is predicted to sell 27-30K SPS in first week sales. This should guarantee her a top 10 debut on the Billboard 200. The problem with today's general sales decline is that music has become way too accessible.

Nobody was releasing half of their album before it got officially released, and it still sold regardless. Those were the days.

Alicia Keys performs at TIDAL X: 1015 concert

Alicia Keys performed 'Ghetto Story', 'Girl On Fire' and 'Hallelujah' during her rousing set at TIDAL X 1015.

Her skin looked amazing too. Oh... wait. She really had a lot of her supporters fooled, showing their acne scars to the world, while she was using a tinted moisturizer to hide hers. I'm all for this no makeup movement but it's a bit fraudulent if you're not going to go all the way with it.

Cassie comes out, but where's the new single?

Cassie attended Mohegan Sun’s 20th Anniversary in Uncasville, CT last night. She looks absolutely beautiful, but when does she not look beautiful? Is she forgetting that she announced her new single 'Makeup' well over a month ago?

Well, where the hell is it? We.want.new.music. and we want it now!

Little Mix debut new single ‘Shoutout To My Ex’ on The X Factor ♫♫

Little Mix debuted new single ‘Shoutout To My Ex,’ on tonight's X Factor and already they're getting accused of ripping off G.R.L.'s 'Ugly Heart.' Oops! The song serves as a big middle finger to Perrie's ex fiance Zayn Malik. It's catchy, anthemey and has a massive sing-a-long chorus, so it should be another hit for them. It's also very relatable to like... 90% of the population. The lyrics are rather interesting as well.

Rihanna joins Paul McCartney on stage in Indio

Rihanna joined Paul McCartney during his second 'Desert Trip' gig last night. The duo performed their joint hit 'FourFiveSeconds.' Kanye West, who is featured and co-wrote the song, was not there for the performance. "We've finally found someone under the age of 50", said the Beatles legend, possibly referring to the very few who knew the song. Ha!

Bruno Mars performs '24K Magic' + 'Chunky' on SNL

Bruno Mars visited SNL for the fourth time last night to perform his funky hit single '24K Magic.' For his second performance, he debuted a brand new song called 'Chunky,' which epitomizes his love for curvy women. 'Chunky' sounds sooo good. It's very early 90s R&B. Gotta love how this man always brings the fun factor to his performances. Bruno’s '24K Magic,' his first album in four years is due on November 18th.

Beyoncé performs at TIDAL X: 1015 concert...

Beyoncé delivered a live holographic performance of ‘6 Inch’ and ‘Haunted’ before returning to the stage to perform ‘All Night.’ The TIDAL X 1015 concert took place last night at the Barclays Center in New York City. Bey certainly gets top marks for pushing the envelope with her performances, bleeding ear and all. Check out videos and pictures of last night's spectacle below.

JoJo's latest fashion spread...

In celebration of her new album 'Mad Love.' getting released this week, JoJo did a fashion spread for New York magazine. Some of the outfits look a bit mumsy for someone so young. She's only 25. But overall, she looks great with the minimal makeup, and lighter hair. It softens her features. Photos come courtesy of Andre Wagner, hair done by Naivasha Johnson, and makeup done by Camille Thompson.

Tinashe back in the studio

Interesting that Tinashe is back in the studio. Looks like 'Joyride' won't be dropping this year. If RCA keeps delaying the album for a hit single, we won't hear anything until Janet Jackson's kid is ready to start school. The more she delays, the more unlikely a hit will happen. Christmas is like... seven weeks away. Her best bet would be to try and capitalize off the festivities that encourages folk to depart with their coins.

Beyoncé's 'Formation' tour earns $256 million

In her own words, she slays! The numbers are in for Beyoncé’s blockbuster 'Formation' world tour, and she's killing it! The tour pulled in more than $256,084,556 with 2.2 million tickets sold. Each concert averaged $5.2 million and 45,757 paid attendees. The tour’s biggest success was London’s Wembley Stadium, which pulled $15.3 million with 142,5000 tickets sold.

(Listen to) Emeli Sandé ft. Jay Electronica + Áine Zion - 'Garden' ♫♫

Seems 'Hurt' might have been too big a track to live up to. Emeli Sandé teams up with Jay Electronica and Áine Zion for new countdown single 'Garden.' Over a sparse and brooding backbeat, Emeli packs a powerful delivery. Though vocals really aren't the problem, it's just a bit bland and forgettable. It doesn't have a climax and goes nowhere. The cut is taken off Sandé's new album ‘Long Live The Angels,' due November 11th.

Madonna is Billboard's 2016 Woman of the Year, but why?

Madonna will receive Billboard's 2016 Woman of the Year award. How Sway? How?!?!? I totally understand Madonna's legacy and how she's been a consistent force in pop culture. But she left no mark in 2016. If she released any music or did something mighty spectacular this year, I must have been hiding under a rock. The only thing she did that made headlines this year was deliver a really shitty Prince tribute.

JoJo performs 'No Apologies' on Today

JoJo performed her Wiz Khalifa-assisted single 'No Apologies' during a visit to the 'Today' Citi Concert Series. The performance follows today's release of 'Mad Love', her first album in a decade. I'd be lying if I said I was in love with the album, but I'm glad she finally got it out there. We can only hope stellar performances like these steer the album to do bigger things. It's already #2 on the main iTunes chart.
