Tyla tells Billboard that her second album will be out this year...
Tyla's "Good Girl Gone Bad" era is upon us! She is teasing "different" new music when she drops her sophomore album later this year. She also reveals to Billboard that Aaliyah, Whitney Houston and Britney Spears have all inspired her. Outside of her popular Afrobeats, Tyla may very well be trying to pivot into trying a new genre. One of her first buzz singles ("Been Thinking") was catchy Dance Pop heaven, and seeing her expand is really exciting!
Who? This artist is irrelevant. She cannot move an album despite a mid hit single here and there. Next thing you know she's crying that her sophomore album flopped, blames her label, goes independent, is never heard from again, until 20 years from now she is on Real Housewives of South Africa throwing dishes and saying she was living out of her car before the show!!!
