Loved how he was able to effortlessly combine Hip Hop with RnB - his collaborations with Faith Evans, Monica, Aaliyah etc are amongst there as some of the best. X was rare breed in Hip Hop...RIP DMX & Aaliyah! X was rare breed in Hip Hop, he did MASSIVE NUMBERS WITHOUT much Top 40 radio support. Even 2 Pac(#1 California Love) & Biggie(#1 Hypnotize) needed huge Hot 100 hits to sell records back then. He really came in after the Puffy & Will Smith era in 98 & truly made a MAJOR Impact beyond belief. That truly showed how Special DMX really is!!! RIP TO THE DOG!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
