Apparently, Play.com has Rihanna's new album listed for December 26th. 

The retailer made the standard and deluxe edition available for pre-order at a cost of £13.98. Sounds too good to be true right? I don't think it's legit to be honest. There's no way she can pull off a Beyoncé-style release without a hit single.

An official remix of Rita Ora's new song ‘Get A Little Closer’ surfaced online last night.

The track, a part of her recording sessions with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, was set to appear on her upcoming new album before Harris took back all of his music and screwed her over completely. Rita debuted the song in several live performances but the original studio version never came out.

The European leg of Usher's 'UR Experience' tour has already been brought into disarray after the R&B legend cancelled a string of shows, leaving fans fuming.

He has cancelled his February 2015 dates in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Italy. Finland fans have expressed their anger the most because this is the second time he has cancelled a show there.

Taking to his Tumblr yesterday, Frank Ocean released a brand new song after a two-year hiatus. 

The stripped down 'Memrise,' has lyrics letting a lover know just how he imagines them. "I could fuck you all night long, from a memory alone,” he sings in a spoken word, staccato delivery. The production is very nostalgic with a bluesy, organic chill to it but this new tune is simply lackluster.

According to early estimates, the Platinum Edition of Beyoncé’s eponymous fifth album will sell 60-65,000 copies. 

With minimal promotion, this is actually considered a respectable figure and it doesn't even end there. That number is also set to receive a boost since Billboard have now added new rules where streaming counts big time!

Dressed in all black, Mary was proving to everyone that she is the essence of the soul with this performance. Sam Smith, who penned the track, was in the front row watching and admiring. The tune can be found on her upcoming new album 'The London Sessions' (due December 2nd.)

The other night, Usher brought out Trey Songz during the Chicago stop of his 'UR Experience' tour. This time, Chris Brown put in a surprise appearance for 'Loyal' and 'New Flame' (featuring Usher.) They did a brief dance-off and Usher showed off his abs, which was a delight to his female fanbase.

The visual is really a twerktastic affair, and with booty popping visuals becoming the craze now (thanks to Jennifer Lopez, Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj), Bey is no longer that woman to miss out on trends. The song is still a load of crap but seeing Bey being fun, silly and playful at a slumber party gives it more likability.

Is this Beyoncé's way of promoting her new song '7/11'? 

Sure looks like it. The 33-year-old was spotted out in New York City drinking a slurpee (from 7/11 of course)! What are the chances that the image conscious diva drank the sugary beverage in its entirety? More likely, this was mainly for show to promote the track now that it has leaked in full. A stroke of marketing genius? Hell yeah.

The Bobby Johnson/Detail-produced '7/11' serves as a ratchet, bass heavy,  club banger which is actually pretty garbage for a Beyoncé song.  It is so uninspiring! Then the (sexualised) lyrics, are pure nonsense but I'm sure it will do what it was set out to do at the clubs.

Last night, a classy Rihanna attended the MAC Cosmetics & MAC AIDS Fund’s premiere of 'It’s Not Over' in Los Angeles. 

The film 'It’s Not Over' tells the story of three millennials affected by HIV/AIDS. It is now available to stream on Netflix. Ri was looking really elegant in a sassy pink gingham Altuzarra skirt suit, while posing with MAC executives that evening.

Now 30-second snippets of both songs are out, with '7/11' due to impact urban radio next week. I'm not feeling the autotune on '7/11.' It's not really grabbing me right now, but I may end up not getting enough when the track drops in full next week.

And ladies were in for a treat when the R&B vet brought Trey Songz and his current support act August Alsina during the Chicago stop of his the 'UR Experience' tour. August returned to the stage along with Trey to perform the remix to 'I Luv This Shit.' The fans did too.

The song has been deemed similar to sounding like ‘Partition’ and serves as one of two new cuts featured on her repackaged self-titled re-release.

Wendy Williams has defended the critically panned Lifetime biopic, 'Aaliyah: Princess of R&B.'

The poorly put-together TV film was executive produced by Williams, who happily admits that despite "everyone having an opinion," the actual biopic was a ratings success. Obviously, the success was down to curiousity. People wanted to see how Aaliyah's relationship with R. Kelly would be addressed.

Lifetime’s 'Aaliyah: Princess of R&B' is an embarrassment to her legacy...

Lifetime’s 'Aaliyah: Princess of R&B' premiered over the weekend, and the biopic was a hot, tragic mess.

From the lazy production, bad script and sloppy dialogue to the mismatched casting and horrible acting. No real effort or research was put into it and it showed. I watched it last night and felt like I was being trolled.

Tinashe rocks ‘BBC Radio 1Xtra Live’...

During her overseas promo run for new album 'Aquarius', Tinashe visited UK's BBC Radio 1Xtra Live show in Birmingham to perform her tracks '2 On', 'Pretend' and 'All Hands On Deck.'

Tinashe had choreography for daaaays. She danced her ass off throughout her set, but the crowd was wack as hell. That is my hometown right there I'm sad to say. Get it together Birmingham!

Over the weekend, Jessie J was spotted on the Los Angeles set of her forthcoming music video for new single 'Masterpiece.'

It appears that 'Burning Up' will not be receiving the single treatment in the UK, which serves as no surprise given the lack of promo. Outside of the MOBO Awards, she has hardly performed it on UK soil.

Former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger served up some amazing live vocals on The X Factor stage tonight. 

She belted out her latest new single 'Run' off latest album 'Big Fat Lie' and even showed Cheryl how to sing live too. Cheryl was previously dumped from the now axed X Factor USA just so that Nicole could replace her on the panel.

Solange marries Alan Ferguson in New Orleans...

*ADDITIONS* It's official! Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson are now man and wife!

The loved up pair married earlier today at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. The nuptials took place in front of about 100 guests, reports E!, including Solange’s son Daniel Jnr, sister Beyoncé, her husband Jay Z, and their daughter Blue Ivy. It was all one big happy family during the big day.

Beyoncé attends Solange's pre-wedding dinner in New Orleans...

As of writing, 28-year-old Solange Knowles and her longtime boyfriend 51-year-old Alan Fergusson may very well be man and wife already (they say their vows today). 

The couple were preparing to say 'I do' this weekend, as celebrations in New Orleans got under way Friday night. Around 50 of their friends and family, including Beyoncé (pictured below) were treated to dinner and a cinema night.

Last night, Janet Jackson was spotted with billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana at the 5th annual Reach Out To Asia Gala Charity Dinner in Qatar.
