Irreconcilable differences was cited as the reason for their divorce. We know that Jay-Z cheats on Beyoncé. She's been criticised for staying and not having the same resilience as her mother and sister despite being the daughter that looks like Tina the most. But neither of those women had a public image to upheld or were ever part of a billion dollar brand. I suspect something like that would be rather too hard to walk away from, because in hindsight, their marriage isn't just a marriage... it is also A BUSINESS.
Beyoncé doesn't need Jay-Z but Jay-Z needs HER. Of course she could just love her husband and can never see herself with another man... at least until the "end of time" anyway. Pun intended!

Jay-Z’s net worth is 2.5 billion, Beyoncé’s is 500 million, so who really needs who in this so called business arrangement of a marriage?
He has more money, but she's the bigger celebrity.

I’m probably one of the biggest Beyonce fans you’d ever meet however even a blind man could see Jay-Z is the machine to her success! She benefits more from the relationship than he does & thats 1 of the main reasons he cheats
I agree - and I think Beyoncé knows it too, hence her allowing him a pass for his cheating. Her career was elevated by their combinations and I think he had the power to do that for anybody.
Let’s not! Beyoncé most commercially successful music occurred while she was still under her father. Jay certainly isn’t the reason she is the star she is today. Hence why she has sold more records and tours stadiums alone. If anything Jay has probably helped her on the business side of things in most recent years but that is where it stops…
He couldn't even do a stadium tour on his own. He needed Beyoncé to do it WITH him.
He’s done loads of tours successfully without her - the sales of which have contributed to his multi-billionaire status. He’s also done a stadium tour without her.
He did a co-headlining one with Justin Timberlake. He has never done one on his own like she has.
I don’t see how any of that is evidence that he needs her more than she needs him?
