Queen Bey was never going to flop this era. With almost 30 years of career, Beyoncé becomes the first female artist in history to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 with her EIGHT solo studio albums. Latest album ‘Cowboy Carter’ debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 407K units (168K pure sales). Not only does it become her eighth #1 album, it also becomes the biggest debut of the year. Crazy to think she could have had higher sales if the album was available to purchase in-store. Maybe this will finally be the album that wins her Album of The Year.

She's definitely winning song & record of the year for either 2 most wanted with Miley or Jolene. Tyrant will win in the r&b category. She's take home 5 Grammys next year.
I feel this year will be the year she gets the AOTY Grammy. Sadly, I think it will be in part because of how white the academy is and how historically under-appreciated and under-rewarded black music has been. This album presents the Black roots of country and deserves the accolades, and also gives some important playtime to legendary artists. Part me will always wish it was Lemonade or Beyonce (self-titled) that did it first. But I’ll take it with this one regardless!
The only spoiler of course is “you know who” is coming out with her album in the next weeks and we know how favorable the Grammys have been towards her.
She won’t be holding this long. Taylor will be taking it again sadly.
I am a Beyonce fan and I hate this album. So disapointed ! I want the unreleased tracks from Renaissance I !
