Video Premiere: Mary J. Blige – ‘My Favorite Things’...

The Sound of Music is one of my favourite childhood musicals so I was a little worried when Mary J. Blige decided to take on a Julie Andrews classic. Fortunately, those worries have now been put aside.

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul did a nice job with ‘My Favorite Things’ which is lifted off her latest Holiday album 'A Mary Christmas'. She was looking ever so angelic in the accompanying visuals, which were directed by Markus Klinko and Indrani. This coming Wednesday, she will perform at 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center' alongside Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Toni Braxton, and more. And yes, you heard right. Ariana and Mariah are performing at the same event! Now THAT should be interesting!
