New Music: Tinashe – ‘Genius of Love’...

Tinashe hooks up with DJ Cassidy for an updated remake of Tom Tom Club’s 35-year-old classic 'Genius of Love' for a Target ad.

This is definitely something for the summer, although it wouldn't hurt to add it to your Spring playlist as well. The most famous sample of the song was done by Mariah Carey on her classic ’95 hit 'Fantasy.' I think oldschool heads like myself would appreciate that one so much more, not to say this is bad. Tinashe's sophomore album 'Joyride' is due sometime this year.
