This latest development follows the singer calling out the Grammys last month after she was completely shut out of the awards, noting the lack of female nominees in the Best R&B Album category.
It's totally understandable seeing her lamenting over her lack of recognition in the industry, because she is very talented. For an artist to put all their blood, sweat and tears into their work only to not receive any rewards is quite baffling. But winning accolades should not be the driving force behind hard work. She should continue just for the self gratification alone and for the fans that have supported her from day one.
