Janet Jackson is currently working on her new album 'Black Diamond', set to be released in... "you'll hear it from my lips." Janet previously announced her album and 'Black Diamond' tour right before the pandemic broke out. No one knows what her comeback plans are, or if she even plans to do the tour. She's been so quiet and secretive about everything, and if anyone knows how to keep a secret it's Janet. She's just been living life away from the spotlight and enjoying motherhood. However, photos like these DO give us a little bit of hope.
Don't forget she has the documentary coming next year, so I'm sure she's planning on releasing around that time which makes sense. It's been 6 years since her last album and so much has changed even legacy acts fall harder due to streaming so i'm sure she wants to release at a time where she's kinda trending idk
