Lady Gaga has announced details for her forthcoming ‘Jazz And Piano’ residency in Las Vegas. She will be playing nine dates this October and this will serve as the show’s first dates in almost two years. Tickets for the shows go on sale this coming Saturday, August 28th. Earlier this month, Gaga performed a pair of sold out shows at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall with the legendary Tony Bennett. Health issues had forced him to announce his retirement earlier than planned.
On ‘doctor’s orders,’ he had to cancel the remaining dates. I love Gaga but I could never have taken the risk of doing a joint tour with a 95-year-old knowing he could kick the bucket on stage at any given time. Wouldn't that be an insurance nightmare? I hate to call someone too old to do something but he is. I hope he peacefully enjoys the rest of his retirement.

Lady Gaga’s return to the Vegas stage is always headline-worthy her talent and versatility are unmatched. As for the situation with Tony Bennett, it’s a tough call. Touring at 95 definitely raises serious health and liability concerns. I imagine the logistics and risks involved, not to mention the insurance requirements must have been intense. This is where working with a Houston TX insurance agency or a specialized entertainment insurer becomes absolutely essential. It’s not just about age, but protecting everyone involved in high-profile productions like these.
