Billboard reports that Doja Cat could submit her work to FOUR different genre categories
at the 2022 Grammy Awards (R&B, Pop, Rap and Latin).
Doja Cat does multiple genres in Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Synth pop, Disco, Afro beats, and many more. She should not be boxed as just a pop artist. She is also a rapper that sings and dabbles in a lot of genres. Being a versatile artist is great. Some artists have their niche and will only cater to their core audience (See Adele) but Doja is now known for stepping outside the box and it is instantly expected.
