According to reports, Jesy Nelson's debut solo album was delayed to 2022 due to recent controversies over her 

single❝Boyz❞, blackfishing allegations and a feud with former Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

However, an official spokesperson for Polydor said: ❝An album was never planned for 

Jesy Nelson in 2021 and therefore these claims are untrue.❞

Boohoo. Jesy's single did not receive the positive reaction they were hoping for. If it had, Polydor and Universal would have been rushing to put out an album just to capitalise off the hype alone. The song failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 despite the Nicki Minaj feature and now it has dropped a staggering EIGHTEEN spots to #23 on the official UK singles chart. That's right, the song has bowed completely out of the top 20 in its second week!
