Who else was going to bring the vibes to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but Ms. Ella Mae? An array of blue and red light flooded the stage, while the UK's R&B star confidently performed a medley of ❝DFMU❞ and ❝Leave You Alone❞ (May 17th.) The Grammy Award-winning singer was assisted by a band while serving throwback-inspired realness. Since hitting the scene, she has been doing a rather good job of revitalizing R&B in the mainstream. Both tracks can be found on her latest new album, ❝Heart On My Sleeve,❞ out now.
I don’t think she can sing, she always sounds nasally and I think her beauty has played more of a part in her success than her voice - personally. But I do like her and some of her songs haha
