When you look at photos of Janet Jackson bestowing the Musical Excellence Award to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis at last night's 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, you can't help but smile at their iconic, long history and collaboration. It was even more cool to see her recreate the look from her 1986 ‘Control’ album cover. Janet, a fellow Hall of Famer, sang nine of their 16 number one pop hits. Highlights from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles will broadcast on November 19th at 7PM on HBO.
