First week sales predictions for Beyoncé’s new album ‘Cowboy Carter’ have been revised UPWARDS (400k+)

Physical copies of Beyoncé’s new album ‘Cowboy Carter’ were sent to retailers really late and the option to pre-order was null and void for months. If ever anyone knows how to self sabotage, it is this woman. But despite the hiccups, she is on course to do some really great numbers. Hits Daily Double is reporting that ‘Cowboy Carter’ is now projected to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 in the US with 403K units (170K pure sales). This would mark the biggest debut of 2024 so far, meaning... Beyoncé could easily have had first week sales of 500K if she really wanted to...

Her 2013 Surprised Album Would Have Sold A MILLION First Week. However She Released It On A Friday Instead Of The Normal Tuesday. Congratulations Beyonce.

She would’ve indeed! And she single-handedly changed the music industry to switch their international release date from Tuesday to Friday.

I will say I called it that they were underestimating her first week sales projections for this project like they did with Renaissance. Kudos to Bey!

I am disappointed with this rushed era. The people who did pre-order her CD/Vinyl got cheated as it was described to be limited edition with a bonus track. Instead it was Limited Songs as 4-5 songs aren't on the physical copies. No booklet, no liner notes and not even the same title. I'm sure this is so she can put it out again and make people get another copy. Hopefully this one will be worth some money one day cause right now it's worthless.
