Oh lawdy. It's been TWO years since Ashanti announced the release of her new album 'Braveheart'. And now the project has been pushed back to March 2014! The first single from it dropped in late 2011, and she released several singles that all failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. There have also been multiple release dates for the project, none of which have stuck. Last night, she performed at Moon nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort in Vegas to celebrate Labor Day weekend, as well as the upcoming release of the album.
I don't think there's anything to celebrate at this point. March will arrive and there STILL won't be any album in sight. She's pretty much broken the Guinness Book of Records for having the most postponed album of ALL TIME. Watch some footage of Ashanti performing a medley of hits at her album pre-release party below.
