Listen to Aretha Franklin interpolating Destiny’s Child’s 'Survivor'...

The last time we were treated to Aretha Franklin covering another artist, she ended up making dog's dinner out of Adele’s 'Rolling In The Deep.'

But here, the Queen of Soul has a multi switch-up on Gloria Gaynor’s 'I Will Survive,' going from smooth R&B, to catchy disco and then to a hard-hitting, bass heavy, Hip Hop interpolation of Destiny’s Child’s 'Survivor.'

It's not really my cup of tea and she still doesn't sound very nice. But it's interesting and serves as one of the few songs set to appear on her new album, 'Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics,' due October 21st via RCA Records.
