Chris Brown performs hits medley at Soul Train Awards...

It's been almost 10 years since Chris Brown delivered his first Soul Train Awards performance and almost a decade since he dropped his debut album.

How time flies. In celebration, he took to that same stage last night at Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena and kicked off the show to perform a dance-heavy medley of old and new hits.

Those included, 'Yo (Excuse Me Miss),' 'Poppin’,' 'Take You Down,' 'New Flame,' and 'Loyal.' He also won awards for Best Collaboration and Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year for 'Loyal.'

The performance was just okay, nothing spectacular. He does the same dancing every time and never switches it up. He also should have waited until next year to perform his greatest hits on a higher scale awards show. He could have went all out with it, serve up the the entire shebang and wow everyone like we know he can.

If he chose VMAs or AMAs next year, it would have made more sense since it would mark exactly 10 years since the release of his debut album. Why waste that honour on a low grade ceremomy like the Soul Train Awards?
