The Weeknd's official numbers for 'Starboy'

The Weeknd will top the Billboard 200 this week having amassed first week sales of 366K (SPS) with new album 'Starboy.'

He sold 227K in pure sales. Of course 400K+ would have been phenomenal but this is still very good for The Weeknd.

The album was definitely a solid body of work and these numbers are very well deserved. The album recently set a Spotify record for most streams in one day dethroning Justin Bieber's ‘Purpose,’ which was streamed over 36 million times from November 13th to November 14th in 2015.
