Tinashe didn't come to play during her album listening party in London.

Tinashe was basically treated like an independent artist when she was signed to RCA, but she wasn't reaping the benefits. And now that she's back to being independent again, she seems happy and at peace with herself. 

 There's no doubt Tinashe would still like to be a major pop star but she needs to find the right balance between recording the RIGHT pop song in addition to her alt-R&B sound. Tinashe relishes in doing everything herself, such as flyers, the art and videos. But she could definitely do with hiring a professional creative. Those flyers looked like someone did them in Microsoft Paint simply because they were too poor to use Photoshop. I know I know. She's trying on a limited budget, but what else can I say? Tinashe debuted a song called 'Like Me'  during her 'Songs For You' listening party in London earlier this week. The beat knocks hard, with that bass jumping out at you.
