Mariah Carey finally knows Ariana Grande & she's breaking more records.

Feud? What feud?!
When Ariana Grande first dropped onto the scene, her constant swagger-jacking of Mariah Carey didn't go without notice.

It's been clear from day one that Ariana studied Mariah and became... inspired. Mariah has never publicly complimented Ariana like she has done with Beyoncé and others. I don't ever recall them feuding, but for me, Mariah's silence said a great deal.

Anyway, in celebration of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' topping the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in 25 years, a video was released today. It showed a super long list of celebrities participating in a sing-off to the festive smash.

Take a look:
Mariah thanked everyone involved, and loved Ariana's contribution. The pair shared a cute exchange on Twitter.

Here's the moment most thought would never happen:
Shortly after, they followed each other on Instagram:

Yeeesss. I see Normani (who also appeared in the clip) got that follow from Mariah too. As for Ariana, the interaction was cute. They most likely won't go on girly trips to the spa or visit each others houses for tea, but this olive branch was nice all the same. It seems Mariah was feeling kind and merry. She has a lot to be happy about. 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' enjoys a second week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. As a result of this, Mariah extends her record as the artist with the most weeks at #1 in Billboard Hot 100 history (81). If Mariah manages to keep this song at #1 for another week, she will be the FIRST and ONLY artist to ever be #1 in four decades. The song also breaks its own record for biggest streaming week for a holiday song in US history (54.4 million).

Mariah is smashing records with this song, but I think entering 2020 with this song STILL as number one would be the real icing on the cake. Let's make those wishes come true.
