Twenty years ago today, Britney Spears released her sophomore album, ‘Oops!... I Did It Again.’
The Diamond-certified project debuted at #1 in the US, which at the time, generated record-breaking first week sales of 1.3 million. It spawned hits including the title track, 'Lucky' and 'Stronger.' By then Britney had become the biggest superstar in the world following the success of 'Baby One More Time.' Not many artists can say they have a diamond album. Britney's impact during that era was enormously insane.
