Can anyone actually say they've missed Lizzo? She's been gone musically, but in a way it doesn't feel like she's been gone at all. The body positivity activist gets papped every other week for her very questionable fashion choices and often goes viral for all the wrong reasons. No one deserves to be the laughing stock of pop music. She's always been talented so it's about time attention was returned to what made her popular in the first place. This week it was casually mentioned in a Guardian article that she was in the studio with Mark Ronson. Now a video confirming their studio sessions has surfaced. It shows what appears to be Philip Lawrence? Literally the Uptown Funk team minus Bruno Mars. She's certainly coming for that pop bop, and that's totally fine. Just be ready for the tissues when she provides those soulful moments too!
Honestly, this is not surprising considering she already had a hit with Juice, which sounds like something Bruno Mars would've made(ie: Treasure), so Lizzo has shown she can make those type of songs & perform them!
