BluPrint | Self Titled EP | ‘BET Presents The Encore’ | Stream ♫♫

Four of the NINE cast members from 'BET Presents The Encore' have released their official EP, comprising of Shamari (Blaque), Fallon (Cherish), Felisha (Cherish), and Kiely (3LW). They go by the name BluPrint and their self-titled EP features six songs. The series united nine of the most memorable R&B songstresses from the 1990s and 2000s in creating a supergroup.

Only four of them made it, but with all the mess, b*tchiness and fiery arguments that took place, there was no way all nine of them were going to make the group. I think the producers knew this since this was pretty much a social experiment. Nonetheless, considering the circumstances, the EP isn't exactly an abomination.

The songs have potential, but the overall project just sounds a bit unfinished/demo-ish and their vocals don't really mesh that well. Maybe they just weren't assigned the correct roles that played to their strengths. This was basically a Cherish record featuring Kiely and Shamari. I know they only had 30 days to get along during vocal and dance training, but with everything being so rushed it kind of derailed what could have been a more polished product. That said, I hope they shoot a music video for 'Skeletons.' That song is a jam.

Yes Skeletons! That song is on repeat already. The song is giving me Danity Kane DK3 album vibes. Also like Talkin, the rest not So Much.

I gotta say , because watching the show, the songs kind of stayed in my head. I like birds, Skeletons and the other ones are oke. Are they gonna have a hit? No... Are they gonna follow up? Probably not.. I actually do like the concept of the show, even though it was a mess..

There are so many artists of our era that just dissapeared and it was nice to see where some of them are in life.

I would like to see a male version of the show.
