Normani reacts to yet ANOTHER blunder made by label: ❝WTF...❞

When Normani's single 'Wild Side' was temporarily removed off streaming platforms Apple Music and Spotify, fans demanded answers as to what was going on. They had noticed the track was not available for 24 hours, which meant she lost a whole day's tracking. Normani could only reply with a "WTF," as if to imply she was just as clueless as they were. Clearly, there has been a breakdown in communication between herself and label RCA. Of course we want to see her win, but how many L's can she take in one week? The blunder comes the same day her song plummeted 31 spots to #45 on the Billboard Hot 100. Eek.

Streaming giveth & streaming taketh away! I want her to win too but what sound would work for her? It's not colorism, it's not her image, at this her music itself. It's very "hot one day, not the next", same thing happened with Motivation lowkey.

The label isn't totally to blame if the music isn't good. 'Motivation' was a bootleg version of Beyoncé's 'Check On It,' and 'Wild Side' is a flavourless version of Aaliyah's 'One In A million.' I see she's doing a bit of radio rounds, so I'll post about it if anything interesting comes out of it.

I agree.... I also believe the music industry is about to push Chloe bailey. She was on instagram live & said her team wants her to dye her dreads blonde, before her new single drops...

Blonde dreads, hell nah. She doesn't need to do that. As long as the music is fire and she brings her A game with the live performances (we know she will), she should do well.
