In the run-up to VMAs weekend, Tinashe has been giving us look after look throughout New York fashion week. She's not getting talked about nearly enough! The 28-year-old has had to overcome a lot of industry hurdles throughout her career, and in a way it's kind of paying off. She's become one of the leading ladies when it comes to being independent, though it still would have been nice to see her perform on the VMAs big stage later tonight instead of this pitiful correspondent role. Maybe one day she will get there.
