Britney Spears joins Mariah Carey as only female artist to chart 4 different decades in UK...

Britney Spears is having a fabulous Christmas. Her only wish this year was freedom and she now has it. Her family on the other hand, has to settle for a more humbling Christmas, being the first time in 13 years they don't get to squander away her money.
Another reason to celebrate is Britney joining Mariah Carey as the only two 90s debuting female artists to have a solo song from 4 different decades chart in the UK (90s, 00s, 10s, 20s)! Britney's Christmas anthem ❝My Only Wish (This Year)❞ which was released 21 years ago, has charted in the UK Top 100 at #97. It becomes her first song to do so since 2016's ❝Make Me.❞ As for the freedom, Britney has certainly been enjoying her shopping sprees. She gets to swap out her father's Walmart requested wardrobe with Versace during Christmas.

Both Britney and her fiancĂ© are dressed to the nines in Versace (pictured below). Britney is wearing Versace’s new Spring/Summer 2022 collection! Who'd have thought we would even see that in the year 2021?

Madonna holds this record too (80s, 90s, 00s, and 10s), Whitney too if you include posthumous releases.

My bad (you clearly stated "90s debuting 🙄).

Both for Madonna.

If Madonna achieved this in the UK then Britney would be the third female artist to achieve it I guess.

...if we're speaking generally and not as a 90s debuting artist then yes, you're right.

I've always thought Versace was a pretty corny brand, but I like Sam's shirt. Congrats to Britney on the record and her freedom. I didn't even think about how her style could change since the conservatorship is over, but it does explain the basic outfits in the past.
