It was announced yesterday that Doja Cat is set to open for The Weeknd on the North American leg of his ❝After Hours Till Dawn❞ stadium tour. But her fans are LIVID! They don't want to pay extra money to watch a man with no stage presence walk around on stage with counterfeit blood and a fake broken nose. His music is half decent but not enough for many of them to fork out. The general consensus is that Doja has enough hits and momentum to front her own arena tour so why isn't she doing it? Tickets go on sale from March 10th.

As a Doja fan, it’s disappointing tbh. I’m not paying stadium prices to see her as an opening act for nosebleed seats. It’ll probably expand her fan base to people who have overlooked or didn’t know her. But she can command a stage as the star performer so this disappoints me. But wishing the best
