Beyoncé comes FIFTH in 2022’s ❝Bestselling Female Artist❞ by pure album sales (so far)...

We all wished Beyoncé promoted her album ❝Renaissance❞ for the simple fact that...

Out of Adele, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, she is the only one that released a new album this year but could only manage a #5 placement in 2022’s bestselling female artist for pure album sales. Not saying this is a bad thing as those (noticeably younger) artists are still in their prime, while Beyoncé is over the age of 40 and still holding her own after 25 years in. She dropped her album just over two months ago, which only recieved assistance from one single (❝Break My Soul.❞) It is the first time in Beyoncé's 20 year solo career that she has not dropped a single music video to support any of her projects. And due to the lack of visuals, her album will not be considered for any of the visual categories at the 2023 Grammy Awards following yesterday’s eligibility deadline.

This woman has literally spent half the year living on a luxury yacht and rejecting any request for a taxing roll-out which often requires performances, music videos and interviews. This is something she once embraced during the very early stages of her music career. And as for NOW... whether we like it or not, this is definitely what releasing music on her OWN terms looks like.
